She was af ormer president of the Allentown chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, the honor society of women educators. She was also affiliated with the American Association of University Women and the Women Club. After graduating from what is now Kutztown University, Mrs. Parry began her public education career as at eacher at ao ne-room school in Raubsville, Williams Township, in 1939. She also taught in Egg Harbor, N.J., and at the Topton Lutheran Home in Berks until she got aj ob with the Allentown School District in the 1950s.

She remained with the Allentown School District until muchofthattimeasaspeech psychologist. She received am degree in school administration from Lehigh University. She was also an aviator, having earned her private license in the 1950s. She was as killed ice dancer, and was for many years am ember of the Penguin Figure Skating Club at the old Albeth Ice Rink. Mrs.
