29, 2005, with his loving wife Beryl by his side. He celebrated his 76th birthday on Oct. 6th. George was the beloved husband of Beryl (nee Strat) for 54 years. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Florence and George F.

Rossner Sr. He was also the loving father of Nancy Zimmerman, Karen Rossner, Cynthia Fingrutd, and Melissa Frake. He was preceded in death by his son, George F. Rossner III (Sam). George was a devoted "Grandpop" to George, IV (Rick), Kelly and Benjamin Zimmerman, Stephany Colombo, and Adam and Alexander Fingrutd.

His 2 brothers Robert of Pennsauken, and R. Kenneth of Wildwood Crest, also survive him. George graduated from Merchantville High School in 1947 and earned a football schlorship to Albright College. He graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in Business. He was a member of the Navy Reserves eraning a Honorable Discharge in 1954.

One of his passions was his job as a Certified Financial Planner at Janney Montgomery Scott in Bala Cynwyd, PA. He continued working until his death. George also loved working in his garden and sharing its bounty with family and friends. Most of all he loved being surrounded by family. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

George was a member of several organizations-Y's Men's Club, AAII of which he had served as President, and the Merchantville Zoning Board. He also served as a Councilman for the Borough of Merchantville. 27, 2005 at ManorCare Health Services, Elizabethtown, PA. He was born on March 2, 1921 to Martin Sr. and Augusta Kiefner Metzler. He grew up in the Drexel Hill Area and graduated from Haverford Township High School in 1941. On July 18, 1953 he married Ruth Kerr.

They bought property in rural Malvern, PA, built a home and raised three daughters. Martin served in the US Navy from 1942-45. He was a member of the Navy's Underwater Demolition Team 17, operating in the Okinawa area. After his service ended, he attended Philadelphia Museum School of Art, graduating in 1950. He worked as a technical illustrator for the Philco Corporation and then Vertol Aircraft.

In 1959 he launched his own commercial art service. In addition to technical drawings, he created lovely watercolor paintings of the countryside featuring horses, barns, and covered bridges, as well as coastal scenes and ships. Martin's independent spirit in launching his own business, his strong sense of responsibility in caring for a succession of dogs and horses, and his willingness to tackle a variety of home and yard improvement projects, earned him the respect of his friends and neighbors. He was an active member of the Paoli Methodist Church during the 45 years he resided in Malvern. Martin is survived by daughters; Carol Metzler, Elizabethtown, Audrey Robeson, Bend, OR, JoAnn Metzler of Twisp, WA, three grandchildren; Cody Cupp, Jennifer Robeson, and Delilah Cupp.
