He ran a service station in Portland until 1965 and worked for Earth Stove Inc. in Tualatin from 1965 until his retirement in 1982. Survivors include wife, Felicia; son, Garold, Woodburn; daughter, Gloria Rychen, Woodburn; and sister, Ethel Shockley, Portland. Memorial services wili be at 7:30 p.m. at the Willamette Valley Assembly Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Woodburn.

Private interment follows at the Clackamas Cemetery in Clackamas under the direction of Cornwell mortuary. Jack S. Ramet, 57, of 3722 Sunnys-view Road NE, died Thursday. He was born in Missouri. He served in the Navy for 22 years, seeing duty during both World War II and the Korean War.

He moved to Salem six years ago. He managed the Pit Stop Market. Survivors include daughters, Michelle Wohlers and Jacqueline Creigh-an; son, Donald; sister, Dorothy Potts; and brothers, George, Robert and Charles, all of San Diego, Calif. Arrangements are pending at Barrick mortuary. Vivian Janet Hager Vivian Janet Hager, 65, of 4088 Hager St.

SE, died Saturday. She was born in Tacoma, Wash. She moved to Salem from Oregon City 34 years ago. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. Survivors include husband, William daughters, Jan R.

Drill, Dallas, and Treva K. Teeples, Lawton, and son, Bill Enterprise. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity Methodist Church under the direction of Rigdon-Ransom mortuary. Contributions may be made to the church.

Gould, Portland; son, Allan Nick, Portland; sisters, Anna Harms, Evelyn Harms, Helen Loewen and Sue Reimer, all of Dallas; and brother, Edwin, Portland. Services will be at 10:30 a.m.

Monday at Riverview Abbey mortuary, Portland. Private entombment follows at Riverview Abbey Mausoleum. Contributions may be made to the Hinson Memorial Baptist Church Foreign Mission Fund. Mary Park WILLAMINA Mary Park, 82, died Friday in Portland. She was born in Madera County, Calif.

She graduated from Southern Oregon's Myrtle Creek High School. moved to Willamina in 1939. She worked as a volunteer at the Willamina Library and served on the library board. She was a member of Eastern Star and the Methodist Church. Survivors include daughter, Pat Casey, Salem, and brothers, Adam and John Frederick, both of Springfield, Paul Frederick, Phoenix, and Huey Frederick, Salem.

A. Kelvin Smith CLEVELAND (AP) A. Kelvin Smith, 85, philanthropist and former board chairman of the Lubrizol died Thursday at his home in the Cleveland suburb of Shaker Heights. Smith contributed widely to the Cleveland Orchestra, the Blossom Music Center and other musical organizations in northeastern Ohio. He established the Sea Research Foundation in Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Mystic, to research marine biology.

Smith was president of Lubrizol, the world's leading maker of additives for lubricants, from 1951 to 1962. After that, he served a year as vice board chairman, then was chairman from 1964 to 1966. Edward G. Harness CINCINNATI (AP) Edward G. Harness, 65, a former board chairman of Procter Gamble who worked with the company for 40 years, died Thursday of complications following abdominal surgery.

Vic Dickenson NEW YORK (AP) Trombonist Vic Dickenson, 78, who performed with such jazz greats as Count Basie and Bobby Hackett, died Friday. In the 1940s and early '50s, Dickenson played in the Count Basie orchestra. He also frequently performed with Claude Hopkins, Eddie Haywood and Hackett. In the 1970s Dickenson played with the World's Greatest Jazz Band with clarinetist Yank Lawson and bass player Bob Haggart. meetings The Salem City Council meets at noon Monday in its Civic Center chambers, 555 Liberty St.

She moved to Woodburn in 1965. She worked as a bookkeeper at a Portland bank until her retirement. She was a member of Eastern Star. Survivors include son, Robert M. Stutte, Juneau, Alaska, and daughter, Phyllis Marti, Woodburn.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Cornwell mortuary. Private interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park, Portland. Agnes Derry Agnes Derry, 88, of 1955 Dallas Highway NW, died Friday. She was born in Missouri.

After graduating from Willamette University and taught English at North Salem High School for 13 years and adult education classes for 20 years. She was the author of a textbook for adults that was used in many classes in Oregon. After her retirement, she worked as a volunteer in the Senior Townhouse Hot Lunch Program.
