Clarence C. Ehler, pastor. Her duties will include leaching the daily kindergarten during the school term, working with Uio Luther League youth groups, and in the education department, ns n-ell as a general assistant to the pastor. Miss Sorenson received her Bachelor of Arts degree at Texas Lutheran College in May, taking a Parish Worker course, slw majored in Christianity and minor- cd in Physical Education.

During her summer vacations, Dr. Fletcher To Give Lecture At Hospital John B. Byrd, director of the V. A. Hospital announced that an international authority on Radiotherapy, Dr.

Gilbert H. Fletcher will give a lecture to the medical staff on Thursday, in the medical conference room at 1:00 p.m. Dr. Fletcher is professor of Radiology and Head of the Department of Radiotherapy nl the University of Texas M. D.

Anderson Hospital and Tumor Clinic in Houston. He will discuss the role of radiotherapy in the treatment of cancer. His death occurred Tuesday night in the Brooks General Hospital in San Antonio.

He had been a patient in the V. A. Hospital for several davs. Miss Sorenson served as a camp counselor under Rev. W.

F. Bigott at the Camp Chrysollis and the Texas Specialty Camp near Georgetown. Members and friends will have the opportunity to get acquainted with Miss Sorenson at an informal "Ice Cream Social" Sunday at 7:00 p.m. on the church lawn. H. P. McLendon of Fort Worth and a brother, E. H. Horton of Houston.

Hospital Sunday after a five weeks illness. Plummer-Fair were in charge of the rites. A native of Kansas, he was a construction worker and had lived in Menard before coining to Kerrville three years ago. Me was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife of this city and a brother and sister, who live in Nebraska.

Burial Tuesday For Albert H. Oster, 51 The last rites for Albert H. Oster, 51, of San Antonio were held Tuesday from the Plummer-Fair Chapel, with interment in tho Garden of Memories. His death occurred last Thursday in a San Antonio hospital, where he had been a patient for four days. A native of Locustdale, he had lived in San Antonio for the last 11 years.

Prior to that he had lived in Kerrville for three years and was a maintenance engineer at the Peterson Memorial Hospital. Among his survivors are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Pieper of Kerrville, a son, Arthur Oster, who is in the navy, his mother, who resides in Pemv sylvania, four sisters and one- brother. A.
