Ms Burhoe is the development coordinator of the Titusville Area Health Center foundation. Her fiance will attend the Palmer College of Chiropractic Medicine in the fall. A September wedding is planned. HOW TO TALK WITH YOUR DOCTOR is the subject of the next "Lunch and Learn" lecture to be held Thursday from noon until 1 p.m.

at the Titusville Area Hospital. "This lecture will help you and your doctor to better partnership," explains Ronda Anderson, RN, director of nursing at Titusville Area Hospital and guest speaker. She will discuss effective communications, how to make office visits more productive, the art of observation and more. Nelson of Titusville, RD and Ronald C. Nelson of Danville, father. MISS PENNSYLVANIA USA Deadline Set For Miss Pa, USA Entrants The deadline has been set for Miss Pennsylvania USA entrants. Pageant officials announced that Saturday, Jan. 15, is the deadline for'applications'to the Miss" Penn'sylvariia Pageant, to be staged for the 10th year in Monroeville in the grand ballroom of the Palace Inn on March 4, 5 and 6.

Miss Pennsylvania USA Pageant is an official Miss USA-Miss Universe contest. Miss USA is part of the family of Miss Universe a subsidiary of Paramount Communications Co. There is no performing talent requirement, all judging is based on poise, personality and beauty of face and figure. Entrants who qualify must be at least 18 years of age and under 27 years of age by Feb. 1, 1995, never married and at least a six-month resident of Pennsylvania, thus college dorm students are eligible.

Those interested in competing for this title are asked to apply by mail to Miss Pennsylvania USA Pageant, Tri- State Headquarters Dept. FN, 347 Locust Washington, 15301-3399, by Jan. 15. Letters must include a recent snapshot, a brief biography, address and phone number. The new Miss Pennsylvania USA will receive a national competition evening gown, an 18K gold crown ring and over $2,000 in cash, among other prizes and awards.

Pursuant to the rights granted by Miss Universe she will also receive a 14-day expense-paid trip to the site of the Miss USA Pageant, nationally televised on CBS-TV in February 1995, where she will compete for over $200,000 in cash and prizes. The current Miss Pennsylvania USA is Linda Chiaraluna, 23, of Evans City. LUCIA PROGRAM REHEARSES AT EMANUEL Emanuel Lutheran Plans St. Lucia Fest The congregation of Emanuel Lutheran Church will host a St.

Lucia Fest this coming Sunday, Dec. 12. The public is invited to attend this event which will be held at the church located at the corner of Elm and Perry streets. Because Emanuel Lutheran Church was founded by Swedish immigrants, many traditions have been kept. One is that of St.

Lucia. While legends vary, the most popular tell of Lucia bringing food to the starving psopJe of Sweden, embracing Christianity aiid being martyred for her beliefs. Lucia remains a symbol of the light brought by Christ to the world. This beautiful pageant begins with a reflection on Advent and will feature the following: St. Lucia: Amy Gustavson.

'Breakfast With Santa Claus' Is Saturday At Cross Creek Officials of Cross Creek Resort and the Advantage Television Network have announced plans for this year's "Breakfast with Santa Claus." This year's event will be held Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m. at Cross Creek. Each child will have a nutritious breakfast sing Christmas carols and visit with Santa.

Added features include a visit by the purple dinosaur from Tarr's Country Store and the airing of a videotape of the event on Channel 3 of Triax Cablevision. Vi Haas, general manager of Cross Creek, commented, This event has become part of our holiday tradition here at Cross Creek. We're thrilled that the purple dinosaur will be here this year and excited that the Advantage Television Network is cosponsoring the event.
