Postmaster J. D. Nutt announces that tae post office ot Bast Alton will observe Monday, December 26, as Christmas Day. The post office will be open one boor, Christmas morning, December 25, between tne hours of 9 and 10 o'clock. On Monday morning, December 26, the post office will be open between the houra of 7 and 10 o'clock, tor the parpose ot distributing tne late mail.

On Monday the post office will be closed between the hours ot 10 and o'clock, opening at 4 o'clock and remaining one hour in the afternoon. The carriers ot Routes No. one and two out ot Bast Alton will deliver as usual. Mr. Dye that his father- in-law, Harm Coleman, is low, and his death is expected any time.
