twenty-fifth anniversary of the founding of Girl Scouting with a Mother and Daughter banquet March 31 at the Baptist church. A program In the church auditorium will follow the banquet, and will dedeplclt what the various nations have contributed to the cause of girl scouting. Tickets are now on sale and may be obtained from the council members or troop captains. The Wood River Girl Scout Council will meet at the Girl Scout Little House Wednesday evening, when plans for the mother and daughter banquet will be perfected. Church Reunion WOOD reunion service for all confirmants was held at St.

Paul'i Lutheran church last evening. Confirmation has been postponed at St. Paul's this year until after Easter, owing to the illness of a member of the class. Registration for Holy Communion will be made Thursday afternoon and evening. Friday even- Ing at 7 o'clock the confessional service wlH'-pfe'cede the Good Friday evening services at the church.

On Easter Sunday there will be two services. The first will be held at 6 o'clock, followed by a fellowship breakfast. Confirmation Service WOOD RIVER Confirmation day was observed yesterday at St. John's Evangelical church. Gold crosses and certificates were awarded to nine confirmants.
