That's Entertainment Only 120 Prime Iimer Show theatres Senior Citizens $1.50 Anytime The Salina ournal ABC and CBS continue to battle for the ratings 5 By JOAN HANAUER S- NEW YORK (UPI) ABC was in the lead in the weekly network ratings race, edging out CBS, 'with NBC improving but still in the cellar. The season-to-date ratings remain an ABC-CBS dead heat, with the Winter Olympics that begin on ABC Feb. 12 expected to be the tie-breaker. CBS lost the week to ABC by default and by poor choice of movies. While CBS had six of the top ten shows, it also was stuck with three movies that ifwere ratings disasters "Driver," and "Carrie." ABC not only won first place, but its new "Tenspeed and Brown Shoe" tied for 14th on a list of 67 Nielsen-rated programs for the week ending Feb.

3, outrating CBS's winning combination of "Archie Bunker's Place" and "One Day At A Time." The network's "Good Time Girls," in its snug spot hammocked between "Happy Days" and "Three's Company," continued to show well. So did "House Calls," which allows Rogers to follow his old "M-A'S-H" buddies on Monday nights. Calls" also followed "M-A-SH" in the top 10 where the two shows placed 7th and 8th. CBS's new "Knots Landing" fared nicely, too. But the bad news outweighed the good ratings for new shows, and among the bottom 10 regularly sched- uled shows, reading from the cellar up, were "Prime Time Saturday" INBC), "Stone" (ABC), "Skag" (NBC), "One In A Million" (ABC), "The Chisholms" (CBS), and "B.A.D.

Cats" (ABC). Ranked high For NBC, the best news was seeing "Real People" rank in the top 10, along with its old favorite, "Little House on the Prairie," while "Diff'rent Strokes" and "CHiPs" were in the top 20. The first half of NBC's Bob Hope USO retrospective finished in the middle of the ratings chart 37th place. Episodes 2 and 3 of NBC's "Martian Chronicles" also fared respectably the first segment, included in the previous week's Nielsen ratings, came in 39th and was watched by 27 percent of those with their sets on in that time period. The second segment ranked 33rd in the week just past, with a 32 percent share of the audience, while the finale ranked 42nd, with a 28 percent share.

The ten top network programs for the week ending Feb. 3, according to the A.C. Nielsen were: 1: 60 Minutes (CBS); 2: Three's Company (ABC); 3: Dallas (CBS); 4: Real People (NBC); 5: Dukes of Hazzard (CBS); 6: M-A-S-H (CBS); 7: House Calls (CBS); 8: Eight Is Enough (ABC); 9: (tie) Little House on the Prairie (NBC) and Alice (CBS).
