MR. AND MRS. FLOYD BOLTZ Stone Creek couple married 35 years Mr. and Mrs. Floyd E.

Boltz of RD 1, Stone Creek, will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary at a dinner party Sunday. The event will be hosted by their children and grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Jim (June) Boltz and son, Jimmy, of RD 1, Stone Creek, and Dan Boltz and daughter, Heather, of New Philadelphia. The former Edith Marie of the late Mr.

and Mrs. J. Warren (Marie) McCreery of Gnadenhutten, and Boltz, son of Mrs. Emery (Verna) Gintz of Stone Creek and the late A. W.

Boltz, were married Oct. 10, 1940. Rev. Harold E. Ewing was officiant for the ceremony read in Gnadenhutten Methodist Episcopal Church.

They are members of Grace United Church of Christ at Stone Creek and Jefferson Grange. He is a member of the Stone Creek volunteer fire department. Boltz, a former maintenance mechanic for Stone Creek Brick now is field supervisor for Jim Boltz General Grading. Edwin Rufeners feted at party In celebration of their 40th wedding anniversary, Mr. and Mrs.

Edwin Rufener of 808 Sterling Dover, will be honored at a family dinner Sunday in their home. The event will be hosted by their children, Mr. and Mrs. Paul (Maxine) Rufener and Mr. and Mrs.

Carl (Sandie) Rufener of Dover, Mr. and Mrs. James (Irene) Parker of New Philadelphia, Mr. and Mrs. Jay (Doris) Flaherty of Massillon and Mr.

and Mrs. John (Louise) Schott of Navarre. Eight grandchildren complete the family. Mrs. Rufener is the former Alma Winkler, daughter of Mrs.

Ella Lude of 1017 N. Walnut Dover, and the late Evertt Winkler. Her stepfather is Wesley Lude. Edwin is a son of the late Lena and William Rufener Sr. of Dover.

They were married Oct. 11,1935, in New Martinsville, W. by Rev. Don Hinman. They are members of St.

Paul's United Church of Christ at Dover. Mrs. Rufener is a member of the Women's Guild and chairman of the weekly quilting group at the church. Rufener has been employed by the Shenango Co. at Dover for 27 years.

and Mrs. John Lindsey of 511N. 2ndst, Dennison. They were married Oct. 3, 1950, in Dennison United Methodist Church by Rev.

Paul Reese. Mrs. Lindsey is the former Helen Bloom, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.

Z. Bloom of RD1, Dennison. Lindsey is a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lindsey of Their children are, Suzanne of Newark, Stephen, a student at Akron Law School, Mrs.

Richard (Deborah) Bonifay of Dennison and Diane of the home. Lindsey (Jack) is vice president, treasurer and part owner of R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home at Dennison and a member of the board of directors of Dennison First National Bank. 45th anniversary marked at dinner Mr.

and Mrs. H. Keene Weber of 132 5th st. SW, Strasburg, were honored at a family dinner Oct. 5 in honor of their 45th wedding anniversary.

The event was hosted by their children and attended by 30 people in the Buckeye Hotel at Uhrichsville. The Webers were married Oct. 9 in the First Presbyterian Church at Wheeling by Rev. W. D.

Lewis. The former Florence E. Peters, she is a daughter of the late Edward A. and Mary J. Peters of Strasburg.

Her husband's parents are Mr. and.Mrs. James (Trella) Weber cf 232 9th Strasburg. Mr. and Mrs Weber are tk.e parents of a son and two daughters and have 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Their children are James A. Weber and Mrs Woodrow V. (Linda) Beitzel of RD 1 and Mrs. Betty Thomas of 418S. allStrasburg.

and Mrs. Clarence P. Eckhardt of Tuscarawas celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Tuesday at a family party in their home. The event was hosted by their children, Clarence Charles and Mrs. Philip (Esther) Meese of Tuscarawas, Mrs.

William (Rose) Huggins of Carrollton, Robert of Bolivar, Verna of Scio and Mrs. Gordon (Opel) Pilmerof SanAngelo.Tex. Twenty-one grandchildren and 16 greiat-grand- children complete the family. A granddaughter is deceased. Mrs.

Eckhardt is the former Marie Metzger, of the late William A. and Esther Jane Metzger of Tuscarawas. Eckhardt is a son of the late George and Minnie Eckhardt of Uhrichsville. They were married Oct. 7, 1915, in Sharon Moravian Church at Tuscarawas, with Rev.

Orter officiating. In addition to the couple's children, the party was attended by Eckhardt's sisters, Mrs. Mary Williams of California and Mrs. Clara Ferris of Columbus. The tables were decorated in fall colors with a floral centerpiece of roses.

Eckhardt retired in 1947 from the Penn Central Railroad, formerly Pennsylvania Railroad. James Gardners honored by family Mr. and Mrs. James (Dick) Gardner of Paradise st. SE, East Sparta, were honored at a family dinner recently in the home of their son and daughter-in- law, Mr.

and Mrs. Gary Gardner Sr. of East Sparta, who hosted the event. Attending the dinner, in celebration of the couple's silver wedding anniversary, were their children, Jim, Janet and Mary Gardner; their niece, Darlene Heid, and Mr. and Mrs.

Ernest Heid of Dover, Mrs. Gardner's parents. A grandson completes the family. Gardner of Uhrichsville and the former June Heid were married Sept. 24, 1950, by Rev.

Reinhard Krause. Gardner is employed by the Timken Co. at Canton and Mrs. Gardner was employed for many years at Union Hospital. She is now retired, due to ill health.
