Paul Joseph Blake Paul Joseph Blake, 82, Salem, died Sunday at a local hospital. Survivors include daughter, Dorthea Panissidi, Salem; brothers Walter and James, sisters, Stella Kreuzburg, Janet Roff and Lillian Franke, all of New York; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Private services have been held. Arrangements were under direction of Rig-don-Ransom mortuary. Eileen E.

Shire Eileen E. Shire, 72, 650 Locust St. NE, died Sunday at a local hospital. Services are pending at Virgil T. Golden mortuary.

Wallace J. "Wally" Pfeiffer Wallace J. "Wally" Pfeiffer, 58, 5538 Wain Creek Court died Sunday at a local hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Concord, he came to Salem last year from Los Angeles. He was business manager at Joynt Electric Turner.

In Los Angeles, he had been a fleet superintendent for ITT Continental Baking Co. He was a member of the Western Conservation Club and a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include wife, Emma daughters Darlene Joynt, Turner, and Denise Murphy, Salem; brother, Bincle, Torrance, sisters June Muir, Ontario, and Shirley Barrow, El Segundo, six grandchildren. Services Will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Howell-Edwards-Doerksen mortuary.

Interment will be private. birthsy Adam J. Christman SILVERTON Adam J. Christman, 90, 117 Smith died of pneumonia Sunday at an Albany nursing home. Born in Joliet, he came to Silverton in 1951.

He moved to Albany last April. He was a house painter and an Army veteran of World War I. He is survived by son, Robert, Lebanon; daughter, Lova Darlene Medich, South Bend, brothers Henry, Salem, John, Las Vegas, and Carl, Areata, sister, Alma Margraf, Plainsfield, 111. Private family services will be held. Interment will be in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland.

Arrangements are by Fisher mortuary, Albany. Charles Ronald Freitag JEFFERSON Charles Ronald Freitag, 57, Jefferson, died Saturday at a Corvallis hospital after an apparent heart attack. Born in Everett, he lived in Oak-ville and Jefferson most of his life. He was a construction worker, an Army veteran of World War II and member of American Legion. Survivors include sons Randy Beaver-ton, Rick Jefferson; daughter, Sandra R.

Gregory, Jefferson; brothers Donald, Gene, Jerrold, Homer and Harlan, all of Albany; sister, Joyce Banks, Kentucky; two grand-chidren. died Saturday at a Dallas hos-pital. Born in Elm wood, he came to Salem in 1946. He owned and operated Leffingwell Body Fender Shop and was a 38-year member of Eagles. Survivors include wife, Beatrice; daughters Maxine Riggs, Luella Riggs, Sandy Perkins, all of Salem; stepdaughter, Christina Smith, Riverside, sister, Irene Nelson, Rice Lake, nine half-brothers and sisters; 15 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Wednesday in Rig-don-Ransom mortuary and interment in Restlawn Memory Garden. Jessie M. Gies Services for Jessie M. Gies, 95, 820 Cottage St. NE, who died Friday, will be 10 a.m.

Wednesday in Howell-Edwards-Doerksen mortuary. Interment will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens. She is survived by sister, Laura Overman, Berkeley, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. NE. Milton Grant Edgell WOODBURN Milton Grant Edgell, 86, 799 N. Second died Saturday at his home. Born in Barnard, he came to Wood-burn in 1949. He was a retired farmer and a member of Woodburn Grange.

A veteran of World War 1, he was a charter member and past commander of World War I Barracks No. 1200. Survivors include wife, Margaret; brothers Elmer, Wichita, Mark, Seminole, and Walter, Oregon City; sisters Gertrude Edgell and Grace Opel, both of Marshall, Mo. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Simon mortuary and interment in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland.

The family suggests contributions to Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, Portland. Karl W. Busch Services for Karl W. Busch, 79, 1123 17th St. SE, who died Saturday in a local nursing home, will be 10 a.m.

He moved to Lebanon in 1932 and became the first Oregon State Police officer in Linn County. In 1938 he moved to Newport where he worked in real estate. He returned to Lebanon in 1948 where he owned and operated the Gables Motel and continued working in real estate until his retirement in 1965. He was a life member of Lebanon Elks Lodge and served as club manager for five years. Survivors include wife, Mildred; brothers Hugh, Port Angeles, and Burton, Newport.

Services will be 2 p.m Tuesday in Huston mortuary and interment in Lebanon Odd Fellows Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the Oregon Elks Eye Clinic. June E. Erickson LYONS June E. Erickson, 59, Lyons, died Saturday at an Albany hospital.
