He was traded to them by the New Jersey Nets last year. Last year Buck averaged 13 points per game. He scored 10 or more points in 58 games. His best game was 27 points against the Denver Nuggets. In a game against the Charlotte Hornets, he had 18 rebounds. Buck played in the 1982, 1983 and 1986 All-Star games. He was the 1982 Rookie of the Year. He was born in Rocky Mount, N.C. He had parts in Sunday school, church and high school shows. After serving in the Air Force, Lou studied sociology at West Virginia State College. He was also active in the drama department. Lou lives in Los Angeles. He has a 12-year-old son.
