He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Marion Ferguson and a nephew-son, Christopher Brian Ferguson, He was a 1957 graduate of Fines Creek High School and attended N.C. State Colleae. She was the daughter of the late Jessie Elizabeth Arnold and Jack Arnold and granddaughter of 1939, In Asheville, and was a son of the late Albert and Jay Hoi-lifield West. He was a former employee of the E.F. Craven and was retired from Volvo Equipment Co. 28, 1999. Mr. Kent was bom on March 27, 1906, in Madison County and was a resident of Buncombe County for most of his life. He was self-employed. Mr.

Kent was the son of the late Jessie A and Josephine norimnnri Kant was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Ida Rebecca Swann Jarrett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ernest Keenan, who died in 1981. She was the oldest member of Bethesda United Methodist 1 LA Surviving are A. i I I years. employed at Champion Papers until his father's death in 1961. He owned and operated Ferguson Supply in Fines Creek. He also established Ferguson's Bait. ROBBIE GROSS WILLIS ASHEVILLE Robbie Davis Gross Willis, 83, of 168 McKinney Road, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999, at Memorial Mission Hospital. A native of Madison County, she had lived in Florida and Asheville most of her life.

She was of the Baptist faith. She was a daughter of the late Frank and Mollie Shelton Davis. She was the wife of the late Chester Gross and Bill Willis and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Johnson and a son, Bobby Gross. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara Jean and Charles Thomas of Sandy Ridge, Jacquelyne and Denver Henson of Candler and Sandra and Augustine Baez of Frost Proof, son and daughter-in-law. Mrs. Cowley graduated from Haw Creek High School in 1942, where she was an outstanding student.

She decided to forego college in favor of joining the war-time effort. She was employed in Washington, D.C., by the U.S. Government throughout the war. She later joined the VA in Philadelphia, where she met her husband. She retired a few years ago after a distinguished career.

She and her husband enjoyed spending part of the year at their home in Holiday, Fla. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Feb. 2, at St.

BONNER WILSON WAYNESVILLE Bonner Ray Wilson, 71, of 2630 Aliens Creek Road, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late William Taylor Wilson and Florence Hendrix Wilson.

He retired from Dayco with 35 years and was a member of Aliens Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Wilson was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy aboard the Aircraft Carriers; Caney. Prinston and Yorktown. He was predeceased by a sister, Annie Wilson Massie and brothers, Edward, Taylor, Virgil and Kay Wilson.
