Kern-lite Mountain Suit OBITUARY Fred King Services for Fred G. King, 82, of 1001 Barbara Ann will be held Feb, 17 at 3 p.m. at Grimes- PIummer Funeral Chapels with Rev. Bruce Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

He passed away Feb. 16 in the Meadowvievv Nursing Home. Born Aug. 2, 1899 in Alabama, he had been a resident of Kerrville for the past years and was a prior resident of Longview. He married Viola V.

Martens on April 23, 1924 in Dallas. He was a retired field maintenance man for Atlantic Pipe Line and was a member of the New Testament Chapel. He coached Little League Baseball for 17 seasons, two seasons in Kerrville. Survivors include his wife; one son, David G. King of Midland; two daughters, Mrs.

Shirley Williams of Kerrville and Mrs. Evelyn White of Amarillo; one sister, Mrs. A. Hunt of Smackover, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Alice Nusom Funeral services of Alice Baker Nusom, 91, of Town House Residential Center, Were held Feb.

J3 in Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital. A resident of Kerrville for 15 years, she was born Oct. was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hunt. She was a descendent of an early Texas pioneer family. Her great grandfather was the first chief justice of Gonzales County and an organizer of DeWitt County and he and James Norman Smith organized the first church in DeWitt County, the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Italia Graham of Hunt; a son, Lon L. Nusom of San Antonio and two grandsons, Larry Graham of Hunt and Dr. Tom Reid of San Angelo. Mrs.

Ruby Parks Services for Mrs. Ruby C. Parks, 72, of San Antonio, were held Feb. 14 in Grimes-PIummer Funeral Chapels in Bandera with Rev. Bill Moseley officiating.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Thomas R. Andreas of Medina Lake; two brothers, James B. Lackey of Bandera and Thomas T. Lackey of Freeport; two sisters, Audrey R. Talbott of San Antonio and Lillian Kingery of Kingsland; 17 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Dr. Safferstone Graveside services "for Dr. Irving Safferstone, 78, of 906 Jefferson, were held Feb. 15 in Mount Hebron Cemetery in Flushing, New York. Local arrangements were under the direction of Grimes- PIummer Funeral Chapels.

He passed away Feb. 12 in the Kerrville State Hospital. Born Feb. 21, 1903 in New York, he was a surgeon. He is survived by his wife, Mrs.

Hattie Mae Safferstone of Kerrville. A. H. Unnasch Funeral services for Alfred H. Unnasch, 75, of 790 Center Point River will be held Feb.

17 at 11:30 a.m. at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Rev. Alois Gitter officiating, Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Rosary was held Feb. 16 in the chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, He died Feb.

15 at his residence. Born Dec. 10, 1906 in Thorndale, he had been a resident of Kerrville for the past 50 years and was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church. He was elected secretary-treasurer of the Soil Conservation in 1965 and vice president in 1970, still holding this office. He was active in ranching.

He and Mrs. Unnasch celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Aug. 18, 1981. Survivors include his wife, Estella Unnasch of Kerrville; two sisters, Annie Westermann and Bertha Leschber, both of Thorndale and numerous nieces and nephews. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.

LL Williams 'Funeral services for L.L. "Cy" Williams, 77, of Fredericksburg, will be held Feb. 18 at 11 a.m. in the Broussard Mortuary Chapel in Beaumont with interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Grimes-PIummer Funeral Chapels.

He passed away Feb. 15 in the Hill Country Memorial Hospital in Fredericksburg. Born Nov. 10,1904 in St. Augustine, he had been a resident of Fredericksburg for one and one half years, a prior four year resident of Kerrville and a prior resident of Beaumont.
