VERSUS Las Vegas at New York People have asked me if I'm surprised that so many fans at Lambeau Field booed Brett Favre when he took the field Sunday wearing the colors of the Minnesota Vikings. I was, but Favre didn't help matters when he said recently that this Vikings team may be better than any he played on during his 16 years with the Packers. That includes the team that won Super Bowl XXXI.

One, Favre may be right on that. The 1996 Packers did not have a running back nearly as good as Adrian Peterson. They also didn't have a receiver with the explosion of Percy Harvin. Two, he should have kept his mouth shut. But knowing Farve, he knew what he was doing and probably enjoyed fanning those flames one more time.
