Trade is oversupplied and the market is said by dealers to be in a muddle. Quality remains good cs growers are not trying to market the fruity damaged by the recent heavy rains. Dealers are making no predictions for future quotations. Flour made another 20 cent drop in Portland yesterday. Trade is reported slow.

Dullness in wheat is responsible for the condition of the flour market. No changes were made locally. New potatoes are being offered locally for 6 cents wholesale for spuds of excellent quality. Local markets are well supplied, with a variety of fish, Including California smelt, rock cod, salmon trot, perch, sturgeon, shad, halibut and salmon.
