Grandparents of the couple are Ada Garrett, WaKeeney, the late Myron Garrett, Windy Gerstner, Collyer, the late Abby Gerstner, Harold and Hilda Cheney and Cecilia Carroll, all of Hoisington, and the late Pete Carroll. The bride-elect graduated from Trego Community High School, WaKeeney, and Fort Hays State University with a bachelor's degree in general science. She is a science teacher at Cheney High School. The prospective bridegroom graduated from Hoisington High School and FHSU with a bachelor's degree in technology education.

He is a technology teacher at Hillsboro High School. An Aug. 2, 2003, wedding is planned at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hays. Mr. and Mrs.

Ralph Strobel Klingele-Brungardt Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Strobel, Great Bend, will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary April 26, 2003, with a reaffirmation of their wedding vows at 1 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church and a reception from 2 to 4 p.m.

at Radium Ranger Community Center, Radium. Father Warren Steckline will officiate at the reaffirmation. Their children are Dennis Strobel, Terry Strobel, Richard Strobel, David Strobel and Jerry Strobel, all of Topeka, Dale Helmick, Great Bend, and Todd Coffman, Hays. They have 14 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Ralph and Shirley (Brown) Strobel were united in marriage April 28,1978, in Topeka.

Janet Lyn Klingele and Daniel John Brungardt were united in marriage Feb. 22, 2003, at Church of the Resurrection, Bel Aire. Father Brian Klingele, brother of the bride, officiated at the ceremony Parents of the couple are Gene and Joyce Klingele, Basehor, and Joe and Margaret Brungardt, Victoria.

The bride was escorted by her father. The honor attendant was Beth Lange, sister of the bride. The flower girl was Faith Brungardt, niece of the bridegroom. The bride graduated from Benedictine College, Atchison, and the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She is a physician for Holy Family Medical Associates and A Better Choice, Wichita. The bridegroom attended Fort Hays State University and graduated from Wichita State University. He is senior engineer at Raytheon Aircraft, Wichita.

Following a wedding trip to Italy, the newlyweds are at home in Bel Aire. Krasinski-Wygal Keith and Debbie Krasinski, New Rochelle, N.Y., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Katie, to Brian Wygal, son of Karen and Bob Wygal, Hill City. The bride-elect graduated from New Rochelle High School, New York University and the University of Alaska, Anchorage. The prospective bridegroom graduated from Hill City High School, Kansas State University and the University of Alaska. He is employed by the National Park Service.

A Dec. 28, 2003, wedding is planned at the Botanical Garden, The Bronx, New York City. Gerald and Lois Dinkel, Great the engagement' and approaching marriage of their daughter, Malia Joyce Dinkel, to Benjamin Caleb Bigham, son of Jerry and Carolyn Bigham, Luray. The bride-elect graduated from Great Bend High School and Barton County Community College. She is a certified occupational therapy assistant at Mitchell County Hospital, Beloit.

The prospective bridegroom graduated from Lucas-Luray High School and Kansas State University. He is a mechanical engineer for Bradbury Moundridge. A Sept. 20, 2003, wedding is planned at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Great Bend.

Stork Club Kaley Lynn Pedigo, daughter of Darrell and Toni Pedigo, was born March 18, 2003. She weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 21 inches long. She has two brothers, Dillon, 10, and Jaedon, 2, and a sister, Paige, 7. Grandparents are Wes and Debbie Brown, Ford, Duane Pedigo, Great Bend, and Judy Schindler, Great Bend. Great-grandparents are Marion and Betty Strout and H.H.

and Arlene Brown, all of Ford. Jared Richard James Windholz, son of Joel D. Windholz and Gloria G. Tucker, Hays, was born April 3, 2003, at Hays Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 15 ounces and was inches long.

He has two sisters, Catherine, 10, and Carmen Jean, 2. Grandparents are Glen and Carol Windholz and Richard Gonzalez, all of Hays. Great-grandparents are Carmen and Gene Gonzalez, Jan Juan, Texas. neth and Janice Collins, Hays. Great-grandparents are Harold and Virginia DeLong, Iowa, and Elmer and Alexia Robben, Hays.

Claire Marie Shippy, daughter of Darrell and Kay Shippy, Hays, was born April 2, 2003, at Hays Medical Center. She weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces and was 19 inches long. She has a sister, Anna, 8, and a brother, Ethan, 4. Grandparents are Melvin and Mary Sauer, Hays, and Bill and Nora Shippy, Woodbine. Great-grandmothers are Katie Gabel and Dorothy Sauer, both of Hays.

Dominic Joseph Riggs, son of Cory and Rusty Riggs, Shawnee, was born March 12, 2003, at Shawnee Memorial Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces and was 19 inches long. He has three sisters, Taylor, 7, Corine, 3, and Korrissa, 11. Grandparents are Lewis Albert, Canollton, the late Florence Albert and Clifton and Mary Riggs, Hays. Caitlin Jane Burr, daughter of Andy and Jennifer Burr, Burlington, was born Feb.

10, 2003, at Coffey County Hospital, Burlington. She weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was inches long. She has a sister, Galley, 3. Grandparents are Bill and Nancy Talbott, Hays, the late Jim Costigan and Gary and Martha Burr, Rocky Ford, Colo. Great-grandparents are Dorothy McQuilliam, Hutchinson, and Deborah Taylor, Plattsmouth, Neb.

Kory Michael Collins, son of Kirk and Dawn Collins, Hutchinson, was born March 22, 2003. He weighed 7 pounds, 1314 ounces and was WA inches long. Grandparents are Gary and Patricia DeLong, Iowa, and Ken- Brecken Kay VanBaale, daughter of Kristen and Matt VanBaale, Manhattan, was born April 3, 2003. She weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 20 inches. Grandparents are Tom and Kathy Spicer, Hays, Sandy and Bruce Martin, Sedgwick, and Joe and Alice VanBaal, Gainesville, Texas.

Great-grandparents are Lois McGovern, Lawrence, and Iva Mae VanBaale, Jacksboro, Texas. Meder-Garrison Elizabeth Meder and Branden Garrison were united in marriage Oct. 26, 2002, at First United Methodist Church, Hays. The Rev. Delbert Stanton officiated at the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Jerry and Teresa Meder, Camdenton, Steve and Susan Pelzel, Larned, Jerry and Dee Garrison and Kippy Garrison, all of Hays. The bride was escorted by her father. The bridegroom graduated form Hays High School and Fort Hays State University.

He is employed by Advantage Glass Plus. The newlyweds are at home in Hays. Schmidtberger-Myers Mr. and Mrs. Edward Fiala Kelly Ann Schmidtberger and Darin Thane Myers Jr.

were united in marriage Dec. 28, 2002, at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria. Father David Gottschalk officiated at the ceremony. Parents of the couple are Paul and Judy Schmidtberger, Russell, and Annette and Mark Ellis, Ellis.

Grandparents are Beatrice Steinert, Russell, and Ralph and Viola Burns, Ellis. The bride was escorted by her father. The matron of honor was Sara Vopat, the bride's sister. The best man was Tyler North, cousin of the bridegroom. The bride is a student at Fort Hays State University and works at Hays Medical Center, Forsyth Library and Contact America.

The bridegroom is serving in the Army stationed overseas. His civilian jobs are working at the Hays Fire Department and at Pepsi Bottling Group. The newlyweds plann to renew their vows with a ceremony, dinner, dance and honeymoon upon the bridegroom's return from duty.
