Born in Wren, she grew up in Corvallis where she was married in 1917 to Cash Bry ant, who died last December They came to Lebanon in 1918 and built and operated what is now Garrison's Slaughterhouse They moved to the farm home in 1935. Becker Mrs. Virginia Marie Becker, 37, of 3100 Turner Road SE, died Wednesday in a Salem hospital. She had been under treatment for high blood pressure. Born and raised in Mill City, she had lived in Salem many years. She was employed as bookkeeper at E.

A. Haugstad Oil Co. Surviving are widower Dal-ton Becker, Salem; mother Mrs. Anne Ferguson, Salem; brother Robert Dawes, Los Angeles, Calif. Services will be 2 p.m.

He was a member of the Grand Ronde school board for 20 years.

Surviving are daughters Mrs. Ruth Wiggs, Portland, and Mrs. Esther Root, Veneta; sons Walter, Salem, and Elmer, The Dalles; brothers Oscar, Portland, and Arthur, Newberg; six grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Monmouth EUB Church, Rev.
