She was a daughter of the late Willim Arthur and Villa Ann Rogers Dills and was the wife of Monroe W. Lewis, who died in 1963. She was an employee in the snack shop of Pardee Hospital and was a member of Mountain" View Baptist Church in Tuxedo. Surviving are four daughters, Frances Henderson of Hendersonville, Doris Lewis of the home, Barbara Bishop and Mary Franklin of Arden; two brothers, Lyle and David Dills of Franklin; a sister, Louise Bingham of Franklin; a half sister, Annie Mae Waldroop of Franklin; seven grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ardell Robertson of Rutherfordton; three grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m.

A native of Polk County, he was the owner of Big Jim's Trout Farm and was a member of Sandy Plains ARP Church. Surviving are his wife, Isa Dalton Conner; a daughter, Diana C. Towery of Columbus; a brother, Charles Conner of Forest City; two sisters, Dixie Walker of Blacksburg, S.C, and Bessie Sims of Hickory; and a granddaughter. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in McFarland Funeral Chapel.

The Rev. Victor Henson will officate. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Ernest Williams MORGANTON Ernest Kelly Williams, 86, of Bethel Road, died Thursday in a Valdese hospital. A native of Burke County, he was a son of the late Ed and Addle Cline Williams. He was a self-em- ployed shrubbery grower. Surviving are his wife, Ethel Bums Williams; a son, Albert Williams of Icard; a daughter, Martha Alexander of Sumter, S.C; two brothers, Cerry and Vernon Williams of Morganton; three sisters, Effie Mabe, Mary Seagle and IUian Free-mont, all of Morganton; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m.
