The bill, which repeals section 10. chapter 205. Private Laws of the general assembly, 1929. would create a board of five members who would be known as the Ashevllle local tax school district. An amendment to increase the penalty for violation of restrictions placed on reba tea of gasoll ne taxes from 11,000 to 96.000 was adopted. The sections relating to use of prison labor, which precipitated a hot fight in the House committee, were adopted practically without debate. An amendment to allow counties to rets In enough men to work county farms was adopted.
