Rervij-. Alfred W. Sikes Alfred W. Sikes, 61, of 212 N. Harlem a retired army colonel, died Thursday in his home.

He was a specification engineer for the Chicago park district and a founder and past president of the Chicago chapter of the Construction Specifications institute. He served in World War I and II. Mr. Sikes leaves his widow, Nora; a son, George a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Almquist; and a sister, Mrs.

Eleanor Peters. Services will be held at 1 p. in. Saturday in the chapel at 318 N. Central av.

Eugene F. Median Mass for Eugene F. Meehan, 61, of 9129 Mozart st, a revenue officer in the northern Illinois district for the last 21 years, will be said at 9:30 Saturday in St. Berna-dette's church, 93d street and Francisco avenue, Evergreen Park. Mr.

Meehan died Wednesday. In recent years he served as assistant to the district director, but was last assigned as group supervisor in the branch office at 5020 Harper av. Surviving are his widow, Kathryn; a son, Eugene and a sister. Raymond Y. Ellis "Raymond Y.

Ellis, 65, of 7444 Phillips died Thursday in Mercy hospitaL Mr. Ellis had been an attorney in the state tax division of the internal revenue bureau for the last 21 years. He formerly was trust officer and assistant cashier of the Cosmopolitan State bank. His widow, Alice, survives. Mass will be said at 9:30 a.

Max Fowler, 70, publisher of the Frankfort Morning Times and a Masonic national officer, died Thursday. He was stricken with a cere bral thrombosis May 19. The Times was founded in 1885 by Fowler's father, George Y. Fowler. The son left high school in 1907 because of his father's illness.

Two other sons also were associated with the newspaper. Cnriitoplier Whalen "Mass for Christopher Whalen, 67, of 3542 W. 63d st, owner of the restaurant and tavern at that address, will be said at 9 a. m. Saturday in St.

Nicholas of Tolentine church, 3721 W. 62d st Mr. Whalen died Tuesday in Hines veterans hospitaL He served in France with Company 51st engineers, during World War I. Surviving ate his widow, Margaret; two sons, Lawrence and Christopher a daughter, Mrs. Elaine Raddatz; four grandchildren, and two sisters.

Mrs. Caroline Anderson Mrs. Caroline Anderson, 95, of 2301 Cullom died Thursday in a rest home at 725 Waveland av. She leaves a son, George Anderson, a vice president of the Belmont National Bank, five daughters, Mrs. Hildur Peterson, Mrs.

Lillie Olson, Mrs. Helen Branderburg, Mrs. Ethel Kliem, and Mrs. Mildred Bishop; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 12:30 p.

Saturday in St Clement's church, 642 Deming pL Miss Condon was employed for many years in the law office of her late brothers, James G. and Thomas J. Condon. She was a sister of the late Kate Condon, an opera singer. Surviving are eight nieces.

Albert Levey Albert Levey, 62, of 8624 Skokie Skokie, died Thursday in Weiss Memorial hospital. Mr. Levey was a principal clerk in the Chicago city treasurer's office, where he had worked for 41 years. He leaves his widow, Fay; a daughter, Mrs. Lois Kessler; and a son, Ronald.

Kuberth New York. June 3 (LTD Martin Erancis Huberth, 85, chairman of the executive committee of the Hearst cor poration and for many years previously the chairman of the board, died Thursday. Lester P. Chase Rites for Lester P. Ciase, 73, of 2616 E.

Sheridan died Thursday in Wesley Memorial hospitaL She was the widow of Meyer Katz, former president and founder of the Rival Packing company. Mrs. Katz leaves a daughter, Mrs. Bunny Pollack; two sons, Stanley and Harry Katz; four sisters, and nine grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:30 p.

Monday in Our Lady of Grace church, 2455 N. Hamlin av. Oscar DePriest Oscar De Priest, 55, of 9423 Michigan nephew of the late Aid. Oscar De Priest, died Thursday in Roseland Community hospital after suffering a heart attack at home. He had been a steel mill worker until he became ill two years ago.

Orb an, 62, internationally known dentist, teacher, and researcher who died Wednesday in Passavant hospital, will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday in the chapel at 7651 Jef fery blvd. Dr. Orban, who main tained a home in Denver, lived at 253 E.

Delaware pL when in Chicago. Memorial services in Denver will be held June 11. Dr. Orban was a specialist in the treatment of tissues and bones around the teeth. He studied at the Universities of Budapest and Vienna and came to the United States in 1927.

He was- professor of dental pathology at, Loyola university for two years. He returned to teach at the University of Vienna, but from 1933 to 1940, was associate professor of oral pathology at Northwestern university dental school. From 1940 to 1943, he was professor of oral pathology at Loyola, and an oral histology research associate at the University of Illinois dental school, from 1946 to 1949. Since 1946 he was a professor in the department of periodontics at Loyola. He maintained offices at 30 N.
