Happy birthday, Bucky 1 Presbyterians Honor Senior Church Members Large Turnout Opens Season For Band Parents President Paul Peoples conducted the meeting of the Huntingdon Area Band Parents on September 4. Mrs.

George Hart, chairman of the membership committee, read the purpose of the band organization to a large turnout of the members. Mrs. Paul Hooper read the minutes in the absence of the secretary, Mrs.EmilyKephart.The minutes were approved. The treasurer's report was read by Mrs. McMahon and accepted.

The band members enjoyed a trip to Kennywood Park in August to close the Band Camp activities for the month. A social hour was discussed and approved for September 18, on which date the members met at the high school to enjoy the fellowship and meet Band Director William Croissant, and to learn more about the activities of the Band Parents organization. This year the band members will be sporting new uniforms, new flags and new rifles, and the majorettes will also be in new uniforms. The next monthly meeting of the Huntingdon Area Band Parents' will be held Monday, October 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the HAHS band room.

The Lower Huntingdon County Hospital Auxiliary to the Blair Hospital met on Tuesday, September 11, at 1 p.m. at the Mount Union American Legion Country Club for the first meeting of the fall season. President Mrs, Ray Smith called the meeting to order. The invocation was offered by Miss Agness Koehler. Special guests, introduced by the president, included Mrs, Alice Heine, director of volunteers, and Mrs.
