Everything from television to birth control will be fair game for the 7,000 delegates. The professionals and the kids themselves will get a chance to have a word on what makes youth tick and why. Even from Russia Delegates from every foreign country with whom America has diplomatic relations in eluding Russia have been in vited. Every state has been asked to report its most critical is sues revolving about youth. The result has been more ad vance studies, polls and statis tics than the conference itself is expected to produce.

Physically, there's hardly room in the capital to house all the meetings set up for the six days of sessions for this golden anniversary conference March 27 to April 2. Spotlight Is Aim It will spill over to the cam pus of the University of Mary land, seven miles away and take up most of Washington's major hotel space. THE AIM: to put the spot light on youth from the high office of the President to the grass roots. An entire forum of 500, for example, will delve into the problems of "Youth in Conflict." Another will probe "Mass Media" the effect of TV, comics, newspapers and films on America's youngsters. The delegates will also be seeking val-.

ues and ideals to set before the nation's youth. Nobody has any firm idea of what results to expect. The main thing, the planners say, is to get people together thinking about problems, solutions and possible guidelines for the future. Plus Codes of Conduct They hope to touch off a prairie fire across the country in the interest of better under standing of such things as juvenile delinquency and to develop codes of conduct for the kids, legislation and learning.
