"Burlington Day" was observed last year, all the places of business being closed and everybody turned out in full force. (From the Morrisville News and Citizen.) At the home of Hon. and Mrs. Waldo Brighani Wednesday afternoon occurred the marriage of their daughter. Mary, and Mr. James liuckham, son of President ltuckham of the University of Vermont.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. F. Taylor, assisted by Rev. John Buckham Salem. brother of the groom.

Owing to Miss Rrigham's illness (frem which she is just recovering) the marriage took place in the presence of the Immediate families only. Notwithstanding this, the event was a most happy one and the young couple start in life with none but the brightest prospects before thi m. From outside the village there were present Hon. M. H.

Buckham, father of the groom. Miss Mary liuckham. a sister and three brothers, Mr. Robert ltuckham, Mr. Charles Buckham, Mr.

John Buckham. wife and child, and Miss Florence Hyde, a cousin from Pennsylvania. Of Miss Brigham we need only say that she is one of Hyde Park's fairest and most winsome daughters, and that she will be greatly missej from among us. Mr. Buckham is a young man of sterling character, graduate of Vermont's I'niversitv and now an associate editor on the Yoiith's Companion staff.

Mr. and Mrs. Buckham will remain here for the present, but as soon as Mrs. Uin k-hajn's health will permit they will leave Atlantic, their future home. The News and Citizen, joining with a host of other friends, extend most hearty congratulations and kindliest wishes for a long, happy and prosperous journey together.
