W. Davis as pastor of Siloam. Heron Wolf of Fifth Presbyterian Church was the loaslmaster. The invocation and table blessing were offered by Rev. M.

L. Mc- Kirmey, pastor of Siloam. V'? Soloists were Walter Gibbs of Second Baptist Church, Media, Geraldine Whitlington of Siloam and Mrs. Julia Nicholas of Trinity -UAME Church, Media. Mrs.

Sylvia Miles was the pianist. Greetings from the general church were brought by Mayberry Pitts. Greetings from the Church School by Brenda Kennard. 'Brief Her committee members were Mrs. Eva Butler, Mrs.

Emmanual Campbell, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church, Paoli; Mrs. Catherine B. Laws, Mrs. Mabel Jones, who for many years was president of the steward board of Siloam, by Rev. Isaac Camper, who also introduced Mr.

Redmond, and by the pastor, Mr. McKinney. The presentation of gifts to the guests of honor from the auxiliaries of the church and from their families and friends was made by Mrs. Elizabeth Laws. Marvel May also made a presentation to each.

VFWUnits Schedule Party NORWOOD--A Christmas party for children of members of LeVan-Smith Raibley VFW Post 7213 and Auxiliary will take place Dec. 17 at 2:30 p.m. at the post dome. Entertainment will include presentation of magic and Punch and Judy shows by Harry Proud of Philadelphia and a trained monkey act.

Santa Glaus will distribute gifts for all ages and the auxiliary will serve refreshments. The Council of VFW Auxiliaries will take gifts to children at Scotland School Dec. 16, and members, of the local unit who plan to accompany the group are Mrs. Herbert Hoist; president; Mrs. C.

Ro bert Gear and Mrs. Frances Latterly. The next meeting of the local auxiliary will be a Christmas party on Monday at 8:30 p.m. at the post. Future fund raising projects include: a plastics demonstration, Wednesday, at 8:30 p.m.

Scouts Are Taught Rescue Techniques GRADYVTLLE Members.of Boy Scout Troop 235, were treated to a demonstration of rescue techniques by the Lenni Heights Rescue Squad at their last meeting. boys learned how to lash victims to both the army canvas stretcher and the navy basket stretcher. Some of the boys managed to learn the technique ot throwing knots in heavy rope. A trick that saves time in an emergency: The demonstration was arranged in with the course now being given to the younger ixys in First Aid.

The Senior Patrol was most interested since they have been designated an emergency patrol. UNIT NETS GRADYVILLE The profit from the Christmas bazaar of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Edgmon 1 Township Fire Co. topped $500. The amount is a good start on the $1,000 the women hope to raise in order to complete the amoun owed on the building.
