Palm Sunday's 'Messiah' Includes Choruses, Solos Raster selections from "The Messiah" will be sung by the Mexico Community Chorus at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Mexico United Methodist Church. A. Henry Finck, president of the Abbie Llewellyn Snoddy Music Club which sponsors the chorus, says il is fcl! a program featuring this music will be a meaningful way (.0 open Holy Week. Selections the chorus will do include numbers containing the sufferings and death of Christ and portions of the concluding section which deals with the Resurrection.

The program will begin with the of God" sung by the chorus. It will with "He Was an alto aria sung by Miss lola Bradley and called by some the most sublime music in the score. Other numbers sung by the chorus in this section include: "Surely He Hath Borne Our "And With His Stripes Are "All We Like Have Gone Astray" and Up Your Heads, 0 Ye From the third and con- section comes the 'soprano aria "1 Know That My "Redeemer Liveth" sung by "IMrs. Walter Leeper and the hioving choral passage "Since Man Came The program will include 'with "Hallelujah" which 'although often heard at ''Christmas comes from the jlCaster section as an expression '-Wf joy. Discuss Projects At 4-H Club Meeting LADDONIA-The March meeting of the Laddonia Lucky Leaf 4-H Club was held in the Laddonia Community Building.

Eighteen were present. Pledges were led by Tim Blackburn. Laura Bishop led the song, and was accompanied by Philinda Paris and Rhonda Elliott on the tonettes. The club decided to sell note paper, have a penny pitch stand at the 4th of July activities and have a dart stand at the 4-H Fair for their money-making project this year. A committee was appointed for 4-H Sunday.

It consists of Teresa Horton, Rhonda Dameron, Terry Patton, Deck Paris, Tim Blackburn and Gena Kauble. Crystal Bealmear had the health program on hair care. She listed several tips on how to keep hair neat and clean. After the meeting Laura Bishop showed the club a magic game, and the Bishops served refreshments. The next meeting will be April 21 at 7:30 p.m.

Harold Wilson announced Craft. Day for April 13 from 1 to 5 p.m. in Paris. The club's breakfast was planned for April 3 at 7 a.m. The hostess gift went to Mrs.

Ronald Dowell and game prizes were won by Mrs. Evert Kendrick and Mrs. J. C. Dowell.

Helen Swansan Entertains Her Club Beaver Dam Club met at the home of Mrs. Helen Swanson Friday afternoon. After devotion by Mrs. Swanson, Mrs. James Wright presided over the business session.
