For many years the Eitels operated the old Marigold Gardens at Grace st. and Broadway, once known as the dowager of Chicago cabarets." Two Brothers Survive Emil Eitel died in 1948 at the age of 83.

The addict told police he' gave the money to Adkins, who in turn gave it to Miss Gutman. Adkins was charged with possession of narcotics and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Detective Albert Heitman reported the arrest of eight dope addicts in the tavern last Friday. The tavern was the scene of a shooting Sunday, when an unidentified gunman opened the door, fired five shots, and fled. One man was killed and one wounded in the burst of gunfire.
