PAGE TWO CIETY BY BRENT. APPLEIVLAN 125 MARGARET TTJKLEY MARRIED APRIL 1 Miss Margaret Turley, daughter -of Mr. and Mrs. William Turley, 518 West Lee street, and Charles L. Craig of Columbia were married at Marshall, April 6, it was revealed here today by Mrs.

Craig's parents. The marriage ceremony was performed by the Rev. Ferguson, pastor of the Presbyterian Church at Marshall. Mrs. Craig is the oldest daughj ter of Mr.

and Mrs. Turley. She is a graduate of the Moberly'High School Class of 1931. Last winter she attended the Clark School Dancing in St. Louis.

She also has been a violin pupil of Rogers Whitmore of the School of Music the University of Missouri. Mr. Craig is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H.

M. Craig Columbia. He is employed at the Herald-Statesman Publishing Company there. The couple left Moberly last for Columbia, where they will make their home. They will be at home in an apartment on Garth Avenue.

MCDONALD FAMILY PICNIC Twenty-six memoers of the McDonald family attended a picnic last night held in the yard of the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman McDonald, 931 West Reed street. Flowers from Mrs. McDonald's rock garden decorated the large table which was arranged in the SOCIAL CALENDAR The Daughters of Wesley Sunday School Class of the West Park Methodist Church will meet in the church basement tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.

Mrs. Dennis Matthews will be the leader. The Happy Hour Five Hundred Club will meet tomorrow afternoon, with Mrs. Ed. Vitt, 617 Porter street.

The Western Catholic Union will meet tomorrow night at Firemen's Hall. Hosts at the bridge party at the Country Club tomorrow night will be Dr. M. C. Boswell and Joe Mullen.

That party will end the first tournament. The Bible Study Club will meet tomorrow night with Mrs. Willard Haynes. The Thureve Bridge Club wiV meet tomorrow night with Mrs W. E.

Six prizes w.ere given yesterday afternoon at the bridge party at the Country Club. They were for high after each game and a low score prize for the afternoon. The prize after the first game was won by Mrs. George Dawson; second, Mrs. Forrest Martin; third, Mrs.

-Clem Raymond; fourth, Mrs. Coy Reedy, and fifth, Mrs. W. F. Wg- -ginton.

The consolation award BRUNSWICK WOMEN ENTERTAIN AT ALAMO Sixteen tables of players attended a bridge party and luncheon at the Alamo yesterday morning. Hostesses were Mrs. P. O. Hayden, Mrs.

H. E. Tatum, Mrs. W. D.

Herring and Mrs. V. S. Rucker, all of Brunswick. The bridge games were started at 10 o'clock and at 1 o'clock a three course luncheon was served.

Mrs. Forrest Martin and Mrs. Wigginton were hostesses yesterday afternoon. There were three tables of players. Mrs.

Frank DeWitt won all MATINEE PARTY Members of the M. M. Sewing i Club enjoyed a matinee party yesterday afternoon at the Grand Theatre. Only club members tended. After the show the party went to the Olympic confectionary for refreshments.

Those who attended the party were Mrs. H. T. Havener, Mrs. William Spurling, Mrs.

Dewey Dill Mrs. Robert Hall, Mrs. A. Twyman, Mrs. C.

F. Hudson, Mrs. B. R. Hayden, Mrs.

Stanley Hopson, and Mrs. Oren Wood. The club will not meet again until September 14 at which time Mrs. Hudson, 635 North Morley street, will be hostess. AID SOCIETY MEETS.

The Ladies' Aid Society, Section 3, of the First Baptist Church met yesterday afternoon with Mrs. Ora Giles, 1102 Myra street. There were four visitors at the meeting Mrs. H. H.

Cavanaugh, Mrs. Melvin Giles, Mildred Grady and Berniece Boots. Members of thej society present were: Mrs. Vorls Grady; Mrs. Virgil Copenhaver, Mrs S.
