COLORED Jury Report. Circuit court adjourned this afternoon. In discharging the grand jury Judge Sutton stated that 171 bills had been passed upon, a tremendous works. The jury was therefore entitled to the thanks of the court and the community. The jury had visited the county jail and found that the prisoners were being well fed.

The officers were urged, however, to keep the cages in a slightly better sanitary condition. The recommendation was made that an apartment be built for lunatics. Further recommendation was made that the appearance of the various offices in the court house be improved by painting and kalsomining. A committee of the jury had visited the convict camps an found that everything was being conducted properly. The committee thought the kitchen department at the Dryman's mountain camp should be supervised with a little more care.
