2 Hillsboro, Press Gazette Friday, May 27, 1977 A OBITUARY Mary Fay Lynch Graveside services will be held for Mary T. Lynch, of Melbourne, Saturday, May 28, at 10:00 a.m. in Mound Cemetery, Piketon. Survivors include a daughter, Anne Lynch Cobble of Melbourne; three sons, Walter T. Lynch of Fort Pierce, Robert T.

Lynch of Melbourne and Thomas J. Lynch Jr. of Hillsboro; a brother, James Fay, of West Hartford, eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Father Marzhuf will conduct the services. Mrs.

Marion Rice Mrs. Marion Rice, formerly of Greenfield but a resident of Naples, at the time of her death, died May 13 at Shell Point Village, near Ft. Myers, Fla. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Carolina Barnett of The Thatch, Stebbing Green, Dunmow, Essex, England; two grandchildren; and one brother, Allen Handly of Los Angeles.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Greenfield Cemetery. Thomas Wilson, of Hillsboro, will officiate. Mrs. Rice was preceded in death by a sister and her husband.

Flora Compton Mrs. Flora Nell Compton, 63, died at 8:15 p.m. at her home on Hillsboro pithursday February 19, 1914 in Buckhandle County, she was a daughter of John and Ella (Tiller) Van Dyke. She is survived by her husband, Clarus; two sons, Paul of Peebles and Elmer of Mentor; one daughter, Nellie Gaffin of Peebles Rt. four brothers, Stewart of Waverly, Woodrow of Portsmouth, Edison of West Jefferson, and Luther of Columbus; four sisters, Mrs.

Lucille daoycox, Mrs. Marjorie Cooper, Mrs. Jeanette Green, and Mrs. Georgia Fultz, all of Columbus, and eight grandchildren. Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m.

at the Wylie Funeral Home in Sinking Spring. Officiating will be the Rev. Robert Wallace. Burial will be in Dunkard Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Guy A. Easter Guy A. Easter, 79, of Belfast, died at 10:15 a.m. Thursday at Deaconess Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born in Highland County on July 6, 1897, to Jacob and Anna (Nace) Easter.

A veteran of World War he is survived by a son, Norman E. Easter of Belfast, and 10 grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Rh Funeral Home. The Rev.

William Kelley will officiate. Burial will follow in Coss Cemetery. Friends may call between 4 and 9 p.m. Saturday. Janet Lucas Wright Columbus.

She was a member of the Locust Grove United Methodist Church, and was owner -operator of the Great Hair Place, beauty salon. She is survived by two sons, Seth Lucas and Mark Lucas at home; a daughter, Lisa Wright, at home; her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Murven Shoemaker, of Rt. brothers, Richard, of Lancaster, Charles, of Wilmington, Murven of Freeport, Fred of Sabina, and Walter Robert of Leesburg; sisters, Mrs.

Carolyn Beard of Columbus, Doris Jean Hoffman of Lancaster, Ruth Ann Vance of West Jefferson, and Edith Shoemaker of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11. a.m. Saturday at the Moreland Funeral Home in Westerville, 55 Schrock Rd. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, South Point, Ohio.

HILLSBORO POLICE are searching for a brown car with heavy damage to the front following a hit-skip accident at 7:22 a.m.

Friday at the intersection of South East and East Walnut Streets. Margaret A. Clutter, 27, Sardinia, was southbound on South East Street. The brown car was eastbound on East Walnut Street. It was going at a' high rate of speed.

The driver ran a stop sign and hit Clutter's car, causing severe damage. Anyone having information on this may call the Hillsboro police station, anonymously, if preferred. THE HIGHLAND County Sheriff's Department reported a minor two-car accident that occurred at 12:35 p.m. on Hook Morgan Road in Concord Township. Joel B.

Goins, 66, Seaman Rt. 1, was northbound and Janice A. Brunck, 24, Hillsboro Rt. 8, was southbound. The two vehicles met in a sharp curve and both drivers hit the brakes.

Brunck's vehicle slid to the left, and was struck by Goins in the left rear. There was slight damage to both cars. ONE CAR was involved in an accident reported by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. It occurred on SR 138, of Hillsboro, at 10:05 a.m. Thursday.

Deborah Kay Spears, 22, Rt. was northbound on SR 138. She looked over to check a crying baby and lost control of the car. She went off the right side of the road, striking an embankment. There was moderate damage to the car.
