Knight will be heard in two solo selections, "Neapolitan Love Song" from Herbert's "Naughty Marietta" and "I'll Never Belleve in Bad Luck Again" from the W-G-N prize ning operetta, "Mr. Mozart," by Ross Hastings, This will be lastings' sec. ond composition to be aired on the program as the theme song, "America Loves a Melody," also comes from his winning operetta in the $10,500 quest. Knight also will sing a duet with Miss Claire from the "Chocolate Soldier" and join with her in two medleys, one of Kreisler tunes and the other of Romberg's "Maytime" selections. Miss Claire will sing "Say Not Love Is a Dream" and "Zigeuner' from "Bittersweet." "I'll Never Believe in Bad Luck Again" and "Say Not Love Is a Dream" are the two dramatic song spots for the program.

They are the results of two $25 prize winning letters from the radio audience naming the listener's favorite tunes. Miss Florence Forrester of Rock Island, selected the Mr. Mozart" tune while Mrs. W. W.

Bergoffea chose Say Not Love Is a Dream." Kenneth MacGregor, W.G-N head producer, will direct the show. The orchestra will be under the baton of Henry Weber, musical director, and the chorus will be directed by Robert Trendler. DEAN M'BURNEY NEW MODERATOR OF REVIEW STAND James H. PREMIER OF 2 AMERICAN WORKS ON MUSIC HALL The of two new American compositions and the presentation of two distinguished American concert artists will feature the Radio City Music Hall on the Air at 11:30 m. today over WCFL.

The new works will be a scherzo entitled "The Bee and the Flower," by Sascha Fidelman, well known violinist, and "Sonnet for Strings," a poetic composition by Maurice Baron, who will conduct the concert. Soloists will be Edwina Eustis, opera contralto, and Leonora Cortez, Philadelphia piano virtuoso, who made her concert debut with the Philadelphia orchestra under Leopold Stokowski. Miss Eustis will be heard in Bizet's "Agnus Dei" and two of Schubert's most popular songs, Sylvia and Hark, Hark the Lark." Northerners Will Present Song by 2 Chicago Girls A new song, "Reminiscing of You," by Nan Wisner and Harriet Marstone, will be heard on The Northerners concert on at 9:30 p. m. Tuesday.

The tune will be sung by the male octet, accompanied string ensemble. Miss Wisner and Miss Marstone, who are secretaries at the J. Walter Thompson Advertising company, have written four other songs. Lenihan, vice president of the South Shore National bank, president; Frank X. Rydzewski, national commander of the Polish Legion of American Veterans, vice president; Fairfax Townley, auditing department of Carnegle Illinois Steel company, secretary, and Miss Helen Babcock, librarian of the South Shore branch library, treasurer. Name Traffic Committeo. A transportation committee was appointed to investigate three Items of Interest to council. It hopes 10 obtain a bus lino on Jeftery avenue from 67th street to 103d street and asks more modern street car equipment in the area, eliminating oneman cars.

Extension of the 71st street feeder bus to 73d street and Exchange avenue, to facilitate direct transfers, also is sought. Seok to Proservo Park. The council also is waging a campaign for preservation of Rainbow park. Council members declare that since filling in for a filtration plant, sand blowing is slowly destroying lawn, trees, and garden in the park. An appropriation has been made for black dirt to top the sand, and council members are asking that this be done at 'once.

Also discussed was the problem of a traffic bottleneck in Jackson park for which the council has submitted 8 solution not entailing further bridge construction. SAVAGE GIVES BEHIND SCENES BASEBALL SLANTS Ever since Guy Savage, W-G-N sports announcer, got into radio 16 years ago, he has wanted to do one particular type of sports program. The show that Guy had in mind WaS to take listeners behind the scenes of major league baseball and give them inside information. This ideal has finally become a realization with Savage, who is now conducting a new sports show on every afternoon at 2:30, before the ball game. This program is placing the interviews that were formerly heard on the Voice of the Bleachers.

Savage gives the highlights of the Cubs and Sox stars and tells about the players on the opposing teams. He also gives sport oddities and describes unusual incidents of the diamond. Kaye's Swing and Sway to Be Aired in Chicago Sammy Kaye's Swing and Sway music as aired on his Sunday Serenade will come from Chicago today. The program is aired over WMAQ. NBC at 1 p.

m. Kaye and his crew are returning eastward after making a picture in Hollywood with Sonja Henie. Arthur Wright is tenor soloist with the troupe. Hilda Gitlin, secretary of the OCD's housing committee, outlined the idea to the Chicago Plan commission and asked that a neighborhood suitable for conversion be sug. gested for study. Homer Hoyt, research director of the commission, suggested Engle wood. In his study recommendation, Hoyt suggested Englewood because it is the largest body of middle aged houses closest to the war industries on the southwest side. He pointed out that it was served by the elevated and Rock Island railroads.

There are," he said, "more than 9,000 structures with six or more rooms, indi. cating a wide field for conversion." New and expanding war industries in Clearing and thruout the southwest side indicate that additional housing facilities will be needed, Iloyt said. The Southtown Planning associaton, which directs the planning Englewood, has been contacted for its reaction to a proposed conversion of the community to provide additional dwelling units for defense workers.
