He was the owner of the Stanton Worsted Mills, Stanton, Del. for 15 years and served as a former secretary of the Aston Township commissioners. Surviving are his wife, the former Olive Priestlyl his William H. Mr. Oxenford retired from Sun Oil Marcus Hook, in 1961 after 40 years working as a crane operator. He had been a member of the Hanley Hose Fire Co. since 1920 and belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Sun Oil Sapphire Club. He is survived by his wife, the farmer Irene A.
