Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E. Wayzata Wayzata, and the burial will be at Groveland Cemetery in Minne-tonka. Visitation will be held from to 7 p.m. Monday.

jietonka, founder of Weavewood Inc. tn Golden Valley, died Saturday at iethodist Hospital in St Louis Park. He was born in Boston and attended Milford Academy in Connecticut He graduated from Harvard University and Harvard Business School. Thompson's daughter, Gail Mosley, of Edina, said her father had many successful business ventures before he founded Weavewood Inc. in 1947.

The company makes wooden eating ware and pioneered the use of a plastic resin coating that enabled the products to be used commercially. "He worked with a chemist to devel was working the day before he died," she said. Mosley recalled her father was fond of yard work and was a great history buff. Besides Mosley, Thompson is survived by his wife, Virgene, of Minne-tonka; sons Charles, of Excelsior and Howard of Edina; daughter, Barbara Thompson, of Atlanta, and two op it so that bowls would be dishwater-safe. Ours were the original woven-wood bowls used in restaurants and sold in finer stores," Mosley said.

He spent most of his 33-year career at Minneapolis Ramsey Junior High School, retiring from Washburn. Earlier in his career, Anderson taught geography for two years at Macales-ter College in St Paul. Robert James Anderson, 74, a retired Minneapolis history and geography teacher who managed the Edina municipal swimming pool for 17 years, died of kidney cancer Friday at Midwest Community Hospice in Minneapolis. A native of Watertown, S.D., Anderson moved to Minneapolis as a child and graduated from Washburn High School. He served as a pharmacist's mate in the Navy for five years during World War II.

He managed the Edina pool for 17 years, said his wife, Mary Jane. Anderson was an expert on Minnesota and Minneapolis history, and had shot thousands of photographic slides from his around the country. He belonged to two amateur photography clubs. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Jeffrey, of Denver, daughters Wendy Anderson, of St Paul, and Roberta Meyers, of Minneapolis; a IMC official Malcolm B. McDonald, 85, retired senior vice president and director of International Multifoods died Friday at his Minneapolis home, apparently of heart failure.

He was past chairman of the Metrbr politan YMCA, a former trustee of Carleton College in Northfitld, and an honorary trustee, of the Minneapolis Foundation. McDonald was born and reared jn Walnut Grove, where his father owned a bank. He graduated from Carleton College and from Harvard University Law School in 1939. He worked for what is now the Dor-sey Whitney law firm in Minneapolis for about 11 years before he joined First Bank Minneapolis as general counsel. He joined International Multifoods in 1951.

At one time, he was' in charge of the company's U.S. flour division and later was involved in acquisitions and planning. He retired hVthe late 1960s. Survivors include his wife, Lucy Lee Nordquist McDonald; a daughter, Helen McDonald, of New York City; a son, Malcolm W. McDonald, of North Oaks; a stepdaughter, Marilee Scheuneman, of New York City; stepsons the Rev.

Conrad Nordquist, of Costa Mesa, and David Nordquist, of Overland Park, three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. today at St. George's Episcopal Church, 5224 Minnetonka Sf. Louis Park.

Beugen, of Minneapolis and Naples, bought the flower shop at 10th St and Marquette Av.

Services are tentatively scheduled for 1 p.m. today at Temple Israel, 2324 Emerson Av. Minneapolis.

Joan Barber, 82, former director of the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in St Louis Park, died April 7 of a brain hemorrhage. Barber, who grew up on a farm near Hillsdale, earned a bachelor's degree' from Hillsdale College and graduated from the University of Michigan School of Nursing in Ann Arbor.

She was a nursing instructor at Northwestern Hospital (now Abbott Northwestern) and director of nursing at the Sister Kenny Institute in Minneapolis before she was hired to start the nursing school at Methodist Hospital in February 1961. Randolfo Pacciardi, 91, an anti-Fascist organizer in Europe and the United States during World War II, died Sunday, news reports said in Rome. Born in Tuscany, Pacciardi earned three medals as a volunteer in World War I when he was still a teenager. Forced to flee Italy in 1927 because of his anti-Fascist work, he became one of the leaders of the Italian resistance based in France. In 1941 he went to the United States, where he founded the Italian Legion, an organization that fought fascism.

When Italy was liberated he returned to become a longtime leader of the Italian Republican Party. She hired instructors, designated Barber instituted a nine-month Funeral classifications.
