Games proved highly diverting and pnilly prizes were won by Bertha and June Oiveus, Ruth Ann Jilison and Harold Luker. At 5:30 the happy children were led into the dining room and seated about a table prettily decorated in green and white and centered with a lovely birthday cake.

Ices in individual shamrock cakes and candies were served. Those participating in this delightful affair were: Ralph Skinner, Calvin Spivey, Dorviu and Paul Flannery, Harold Luker, Waid and Junior Owens, Junior Logsdou, Kay Er- viii, Clinton Allen, Ruth Anne Ellison, Willie and June Owens, Hevn Mittie and Donna Ruth Owens, Joyce Owens, Lois Jeanne Owens, Bertha Owens and the little host Stanley Wade Inman. Mrs. Lillio Owens (an aunt) and Mrs. Edith Juniim the mother helped the host to entertain his little friends.

Metier Had Birttday Patty Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meder entertained at their home on Belle avenue in honor of their daughter Gloria's se-venlli birthday. She received many pretty gifts. The afternoon was spent in singing, tap dancing and playing games.

Those who were fortunate in winning prizes were Ellen Byens, Eileen Schuler, Clara Mae Baetian, Bobby Jean labors, Elaine Bowman and Billy Jean Compston. Later in the afternoon the little ones ga around the dining room table was beautifully decorated in green and i large birthday cahe with seven caudles gracing the center. After they all joined in singing "Happy Birthday To You" they were served ice cream and cake with tiny green baskets as favors and each child was given a shamrock. Those who came to wish Gloria many more happy birthdays were: Patty Guenther, Dottie Kendall, Dorothy Clendem'n, Ellen Byere, Phyllis Koons, Eileen Schuler, Elaine Bowman, Hope Azbil, Bobby Jean Nabors, Clara Mae Bastion, Billy Jean Compston, Virginia Schnlcr and the hostess Gloria Mcder. and Mrs. J. Hedderick Celebrated rifty-fifth Anniversary On St. Patrick's Day Mr. and Mrs.

John Hedderick quietly celebrated their fifty-fifth wedding an- nivereary at their home on Hanover street. The happy pair received beautiful flowers, sweets and many greeting cards, and a large cake which was the center of attraction the prettily decorated table.
