PRANSKY, Jerome Charles (Jerry) Passed away the morning of Friday, March 18, 2005 after a strong three-year battle with multiple myeloma. Jerry was a singular character. Though he was born in Los Angeles, Colorado and the Fiji Islands were also home.

A self-made man of amazing intellect and wit, he could not comprehend the words, "no," "can't," or "later." His fearless nature led him around the world and back. At each destination on his life's journey he left no one a stranger. In fact, his ability to connect with people often took him from one adventure to the next. Jerry owned and operated Intercontinental Financial Services, a commercial collection agency, for over 30 years prior to his retirement. In work as in life, the just way was the only way he knew.

His great success can be measured by his commitment and loyalty to his clients, most of whom he also called friends. Upon diagnosis, his attentions focused. Jerry used his unique sense of humor to make others feel at ease about his disease, he became actively involved with the efforts of the International Myeloma Foundation, and he spent much time with his loved ones. Despite dying at the age of 62, he was forever a child in his mind. He is survived by his wife, Francoise Gerard Pransky; and his adult children, Jeffrey Myer and Jennifer Felice Pransky.
