Greenville died July 28, 1992, at Anderson Memorial Hospital. She was 74. She was a graduate of Furman University and worked for a bank in Anderson. Later, she was Woman's Page editor of the Anderson Independent. She was on the staff of the first Head Start Program and was the first president of the American Association of University Women when the organization started a chapter in her area.

She was treasurer of the Hospital Auxiliary, treasurer of the American Cancer Society and a board member of the United Way and Anderson County Library. She was a member of Anderson First Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Browne Glenn of the home; a son, Michael Browne Glenn of Anderson; and a brother, E.P. Vandiver Jr. of Anderson.

Katherine M. Brown GREER Katherine McAbee Brown, 83, of Mobile, formerly of Greer, died July 27, 1992, at Lynwood Nursing Home after a period of declining health. She was a member of Victorian Hills Independent Methodist Church and a retired employee of J. P. Stevens Co.

Gladys A. Burnett SPARTANBURG Gladys Allen Burnett, 70, of 430 E. Blackstock Road, died July 27, 1992, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was an employee of Mayfair Mills and was a Baptist. Surviving are two daughters, Glenice Justice and Linda Hall, both of Spartanburg; a brother, Lewis Allen of Texas; and a sister, Willie Mae Emory of Spartanburg.

John W. Burnett UNION John William Burnett, 46, of 221 Long Twelve died July 27, 1992, at Wallace Thomson Hospital after a brief illness. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church and an employee of Diverscoat Union Mill. Surviving are his wife, Dora Lanier of the home; two sisters, Bren-da Lawter and Patricia Jennings, both of Union; and a brother, Frank Burnett of Union. Services: 3 p.m.

Thursday at Jessie Terry, former magistrate PIEDMONT Jessie Cornelia Collins Terry, a former magistrate and resident of 1 Underwood died July 27, 1992. She was 69. She was a graduate of Draughn's Business College, retired from J. P. Stevens Co.

Estes plant, and was a member of Piedmont First Baptist Church. She served as a magistrate in Greenville County. She was former president of Piedmont Mother's Club and the first coordinator of Meals on Wheels in Piedmont. Surviving are her husband, James Curtis Terry; two daughters, Mrs. Wayman (Carol Jo) Henry of Orangeburg and Mrs.

Cary (Mary Jane) Freeman of Powdersville; three sisters, Ruth McClain and Doris Brown, both of Greenville, and Frances Vaughn of Greenwood; and a brother, Dewey D. Collins of Baltimore, Md.
