ALLOUEZ Block Grant hearing held Funding of Green Bay's 1981 Community Development Block Grant program was reviewed at a public hearing in City Hall Tuesday. Expenditures totaled approximately $1,395,000 for 10-12 projects, according to Rob Strong, staff planner with the Redevelopment Authority. Green Bay has been participating in the program since 1975 with annual expenditures topping $1 million provided through the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Projects undertaken during 1981, many of which are being continued this year, include alley surfacing, sidewalks, tree planting, Univer-' sty Avenue acquisition, Wildlife Sanctuary and loans for housing rehabilitation. Strong said hearings for tjie 1983 program tentatively are scheduled for September.

OCONTO (PG) A jury Of five women and seven men found Daniel Kriz, 19, Oshkosh, innocent of homicide by the negligent operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants. The Oconto County Cir-euit Court jury deliberated two hours and 15 minutes Before returning the verdict. Kriz was accused of causing the death of James Perdue, 20, of Oshkosh, Aug. 29, W81, in the town of River-view in northern Oconto County.

The accident happened at 2:40 a.m. on Hwy. 32, one-half mile north of Tar Dam Road, when the Kriz vehicle left the roadway and struck a sign. Perdue, who was a passenger in the Kriz vehicle, died at the scene. Patricia FarreU, 26, Muskego, charged with being a party to a burglary, will be arraigned July 1.
