A resident of 206 Bloomfield Lane, she was a communicant of Christ Church Episcopal. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Catherine Cecily Clark, a student in Spokane, a son, Carl Wesley Clark of the home; and a sister, Evelyn Hansen of Philadelphia. Box 10128, Greenville, S.C. 29603. The Mackey Mortuary. 'Footsie' Banes GREENWOOD Edgar Owen "Footsie" Banes, 70, of 413 Bond died Jan. 17, 1991, at Self Memorial Hospital.

He was a retired employee of Greenwood Mills, Mathews plant, and a member of Greenwood Mills Quarter Century Club. He worked with the Greenwood High School football team for 55 years, missing only five games during that period. He was recognized in 1985 by Coach Willis Burkett as "No. 1 Fan of the Greenwood Eagles Football Team." He was a member of West Side Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mary Fickling Banes of the home; a daughter, Rebecca Fuller of the home; two sisters, Thelma Banes and Catherine B.

Brewer KANNAPOLIS, N.C. Pearl Queen Brewer, 71, of 921 Maywood died Jan. 18, 1991, at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital after a number of years of declining health. She was a retired employee of Cannon Towel Store. Surviving are her husband, Willie Harrison Brewer of the home; two daughters, Nancy Lloyd and Kay B.

Bracey, both of Kannapolis; three "sons, W.K. She served on the board of directors for the South Carolina Lupus Foundation of America and was treasurer of the South Carolina Lupus Organization.

Ellison EASLEY George A. Ellison, 73, of 318 Rice Road, Arial community, died Jan. 17, 1991, at his home following several months illness. He retired from Alice Manufacturing and attended Easley Bible Methodist Church. He was a member of Pickens View Wesleyan Church.

17, 1991, in San Francisco following an extended period of declining health and several weeks of serious illness. A graduate of Parker High School, he moved to San Francisco in 1975 and was an interior decorator. He was a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville. Surviving are his parents, Mr.

and Mrs. Robert Haney of Greenville; a sister, Sylvia H. Jordan of Williamston; a half sister, Ruth H. Ramirez of Grand Rapids, two half brothers, Ronald Farmer and Robert Haney both of Greenville; and a foster brother, Tony Spivey of Travelers Rest. Visitation: 3 to 4:30 p.m.

August W. Holman SPARTANBURG August W. "Gus" Holman, 58, of 164 Leisure Lane, died Jan. 17, 1991, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. He was an attorney and insurance adjuster and a member of St.

Johns Lutheran Church in Spartanburg. He was a 1954 graduate of The Citadel, a 1961 graduate of University of South Carolina Law School. He was owner of Holman Claim Service and former Gaffney City Attorney. Surviving are a son, Baron Holman of Gaffney; his mother, Virginia Trefsler Holman of Cameron; a brother, Theo Kea of Timmonsville; and four sisters, Louise Kea Rogers of Florence, Irene Kea Davis of Sumter, Willie Rea Kea of Anderson and Betty Kea Adams of Timmonsville. Harold P. Hope Sr. UNION Dr. Harold Pagan Hope of 326 South died Jan. 18, 1991, at a Charlotte, hospital after an illness.

He was a physician and had practiced in Union for 57 years at the time of his death. He was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and the Medical College of South Carolina. Following completion of his medical-surgical internship at Roper Hospital in Charleston, he established his medical practice in Union. He was a member and past president of South Carolina Medical Association, a member of the American Medical Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. was a member and past president of Union Rotary Club and was named a Paul Harris Fellow.

He was a member and elder of the First Presbyterian Church and served on the board of visitors of Presbyterian College in Clinton. Surviving are his wife, Helen Hamilton Hope of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Milford Jordan of Florence; two sons, Dr. Harold P. Hope Jr.

of Charlotte, and Robert M. Hope of Union; two sisters, Mrs. T.J. Blalock of Raleigh, N.C., and Mrs. William A.

Schilletter of Goldsboro, N.C.; and a brother, Dr. A. Chalmers Hope of Charlotte. Services: 3 p.m. Sunday at the First Presbyterian Church with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Jaundrill BRIDGEPORT, Conn. Edward R. Jaundrill, 74, died Jan. 17, 1991, at St. Vincent's Hospital.

He was a firefighter with the City of Bridgeport for 30 years before he retired. He was a part-time mail clerk at the Connecticut National Bank and, during the war years, he was an employee of Remington Arms in the ballistics department. He was former sexton at St. Charles Church in Bridgeport and a member of Bridgeport Fire Department Glee Club. Surviving are his wife, Pearl Gay Jaundrill of Bridgeport; a daughter, Mary J.

Hearne of Tigerville; and a son, David Jaundrill of Bridgeport. A Memorial Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Catherine of Sienna Church, Shelton Road, Nichols, Conn. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Kenneth B. Lanford WOODRUFF Kenneth B. Lanford, 52, of 791 Old Switzer Road, died Jan. 18, '1991, at B.J. Workman Memorial Hospital.

He was a machine operator at Tanner Chemical Co. in Greenville, a U.S. Army veteran, and a member of Switzer Church of God. Surviving are his mother, Florence Harris Lanford Beach, four sons, Rodney D. Lanford of the home, Roger Lanford of Spartanburg, Kenneth B.

Lanford Jr. of Las Vegas, and Brian Keith Lanford of Long Beach, three daughters, Darlene Lanford of Garden Grove, Shianna Drea of Leesburg, and Tanelea Hund of Anaheim, a sister, Jane Roth of Raleigh, N.C.; and an aunt with whom he made his home, Mary M. Love- lace, 61, of 510 McMahan Mill Road, formerly of Lakeshore Apartments, Greenville, died Jan. 17, 1991, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. 16, 1991, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center. He retired as a technicals sergeant from the U.S. Air Force with 27 of service. He was a veteran of years World War II, Korean War and the war in Vietnam. He was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Blanche Sexton McGree of the home; two sons, Larry McGee of Sumter and Danny McGee of Dalzell; two daughters, Connie Scott and Sue Mackessy, both Dalzell; two brothers, Bill McGee of Waterloo and Carl McGee of Piedmont; and three sisters, Irene Timms of Hodges, Marie Counts of Simpsonville and Louise McGee of Phoenix. 'Bill' Newbold NEWBERRY William A. "Bill" Newbold, 67, of 123 Grace died Jan. 17, 1991, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a former policeman, and a retired employee of Kendall Oakland plant.

He was a member of Newberry Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Long Newbold; and a brother, C.H. Newbold Sr. of Jacksonville, N.C. Graveside services: 11 a.m.

Graham WESTMINSTER William S. Graham, 73, of Washington, D.C., formerly of Oconee County, died Jan. 16, 1991, in Washington. He was a retired U.S. Army veteran and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are his wife, Bebe Graham of the home; two brothers, T.F. Graham of Westminster and Frank Betty L. Nimmons, 86, of 206 Brookdale died Jan. 17, 1991, at St. Francis Hospital after an illness of three weeks.

She was an employee of J.P. Stevens Co. Dunean plant, before she retired, and was a member of Woodside Wesleyan Methodist Church. Surviving are a stepsister, Mrs. John Girardeau of Greenville; and two stepbrothers, Woodrow Wyatt and Byrd Wyatt, both of Greenville.

Services: 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation: 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The families will be at their respective homes.

J. Roy Owen John Roy Owen, 92, of West Prentiss Avenue, died Jan. 17, 1991, following a period of declining health. He retired as manager of Graham Globe Photo Inc. after 50 years and was a member of Buncombe Street United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Nellie Mae Simpson Owen; a daughter, Mrs. James M. (Betty) Gaddy of Asheville; a sister, Ruby Zettell of Charleston; and a brother, Sam Owen of Asheville. Graveside services: 11 a.m. Saturday in Springwood Cemetery.
