Huston Favored for Oscar in Unpaid 'Cardinal' Role HOLLYWOOD (AP) Oddson favorite to win this yeaf's Oscar as best supporting actor is a lean, lanky Irishman who acts for free and couldn't care less if he ever.acts again. And the Oscar? If-lie NASA Reveals Mock-Up of Moon Ship BETHPAGE, N.Y. (AP)-A full-scale wooden model of America's 'moonship was put on display yesterday and it looks like an ugly bug. It is designed to carry two astronauts to a landing on the moon for a 24-hour visit there, and then return to a mother ship circling the rhoon for the voyage back to earth.

Officials of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and half a dozen astronauts, some of whom may be future pilots, have been checking the design and systems for the moonship for several days. NASA officials approved the said they had design to go ahead and begin producing actual craft for testing and future flights. The moonship is LEM, meaning lunar excursion module in space-age jargon. It. is being built by Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corp- under a $390- million NASA contract.

On close-up inspection, newsmen and photographers were surprised at its size, compared with the little Mercury capsule which carried U.S. astronauts on their first journeys around the earth. LEM stands 22 feet high and 10 feet across. The bottom half, with four ungainly legs ending in pods as feet, is intended to land gently on the moon, with two astronauts ensconded in the shaped upper portion. bug- as most experts will be no novelty.

He won in 1948 for best director ami best screenwriter. He also helped his father win an Oscar for the same Treasure of The Sierra Madre." How did Director John Huston get cast as the cardinal-archbishop of Boston in Otto Preminger's "The Cardinal?" "My agent is Ingo Preminger, Otto's brother," says "He is also his brother's agent. "Otto told Ingo that he wanted a John Huston type to play the part. Ingo said there is no such thing as a John Huston type except John Huston. So Ingo suggested to his brother that he cast me.

II was all very simple." When the picture came out, one important critic wrote, that Huston's father couldn't have played -the' role belter. His father, of course, was the late Walter Huston whom Stanislav- sky once called the greatest actor in the world. "I can't say I agree with that critic," says the son. Huston took no money for the role. Huston recently renounced his U.S.

citizenship for Irish nationality. He makes his permanent home in County Galway. "I believe a person should be a cilizen of the country where he lives," he argues. He has lived in Ireland for 12 years. Car Thieves Plague Sheriff Candidates JEFFERSON, Ga.

CPI While six candidates for sheriff told a rally of their intentions to rid Jackson County of its car-thieving reputation, would-be thieves were trying to steal an auto outside the courthouse. Witnesses said the two young boys escaped after a chase, when the forum broke up Thursday night. The six" candidates are seek- sary date. Television Notes NEW YORK (AP)-One accepted, if regrettable, fact of television life is that network public affairs shows, documentaries and other so-called "special projects," rarely attract the big audiences that routinely watch 'entertainment shows. What makes it all the more sad is that television has learned how to do these shows very well, usually with brilliant camera work and clear, sharp writing.

There are a handful of specialists who are important because their programs arc the ones to which networks point with pride and list as examples of "public service." The top CBS specialist, until his recent promotion to head the whole network news operation, was Fred Friendly of "CBS Reports." NBC has Reuven Frank and Irving Gitlin among others. ABC's top producers are one of television's few husband-wife teams, John Secondari and Helen Rogers. Secondari, who heads the network's special projects division, will be winding up on Sunday an ambitious effort, a four-part series called "The Saga of Western Man." It sketched developments of this hemisphere since 1492, when the new world was discovered. Secondari, with his wife as the series' director, spotlighted the growth of the American man in the first three parts. But the final chapter, called "1964," will be a of a It took a team of 40 to put together the series, including researchers.

Secondari wrote the scripts and also served as narrator. "CBS Reports" has been working a year on it's D-Day anniversary program, and, with former President Dwight D. Eisenhower recalling the invasion day, will present the show on June 5, eve of the 20th anniver- ing to succeed Sheriff John Brooks, who is under a five-year sentence in connection with a car theft ring. At the Movies VISITING Kirk sneaks into the school lab to visit his friend, Stanley the Chimp, in Walt Disney's Technicolor campus comedy, "The Misadventures of Merlin Jones." Annette also stars in the Buena Vista release. Now showing thru Tuesday at the Fergus Theatre.

The program will be 90 minutes long, and show the former (First Publication Mar. 23, I9C4) HOTXOB OF INCORPORATION Take Notice, That Peach a corporation, has been incorporated "under the laws of the State of Minnesota; that its Certificate of Incorporation was issued March 19, 1964; that the general nature of the business is to buy, sell, hatch, grow, raise and process poultry of every description; to purchase, lease or otherwise acquire personal and real property or any' Interest therein, and to sell, lease, mortgage or otherwise dispose of said property so acquired wherever the same may be situated, either within or without the State of Minnesota; to lend and borrow money, credit or property; and to do all things that may be necessary incident to the accomplishment of said purposes; that the address of its registered office is New York Mills, Minnesota; that the names and addresses of its incorporates are: 'Elizabeth C.
