Thursday, August 14, 2003 Green Bay Press-Gazette OBITUARIES AND FUNERALS Barbeau, Alan C. "AI" Alan C. "Al" Barbeau, 42, village of Howard resident, died Tuesday, August 12, 2003. He was born August 19, 1960, in Green Bay to Patricia Barbeau and the late Francis "Frenchy" Barbeau. Survivors include a son, Shawn Belleau; his mother, Patricia Barbeau; six sisters; four brothers; many nieces, nephews, cousins and two great nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father, Francis "Frenchy" Barbeau; and a brother, Ernie. Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon Friday. The Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. William Swichtenberg officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Alan's name. Courchaine, Mrs. Wilfred (Irene) Mrs. Wilfred (Irene) Courchaine, 75, Green Bay, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003, at a local hospital.

She was born March 5, 1928, to the late Frank and Cecelia (Gracyalny) Maroszek in Hofa Park, Wis. On Aug. 28, 1949, she married Alvin Strzelecki; he preceded her in death March 4, 1981. She married Wilfred Courchaine June 29, 1990; he preceded her in death July 1, Park and As- sumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Pulaski. She had been employed by Northern Shoe Factory, Wielgus Bakery, Wielgus Clothing Store, Wendzikowski's Meats and Homestead Supper Club, all of Pulaski.

She enjoyed listening to her nephews' polka band (Maroszek card parties with family and friends, and spending time at the cottage in Townsend. She will be always remembered for her cooking and baking as well as the many afghans that she made for her family. Survivors include one son, John Strzelecki, Suamico; one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Rick Reinhard, Green Bay; three grandchildren, Christy Gwidt, Madison; Jackie Gwidt, Chicago; and Jamie Gwidt, Katsura, Japan; two brothers and sisters-inlaw, Florian and Florence Maroszek, Green Bay and Jacob and Mildred Maroszek, Pulaski; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Monica Lampe, West Allis; Helen Baranczyk, Pulaski; and Theresa and Robert Teschner, Pewaukee; 13 stepchildren and their spouses, Margaret and William Pigeon, Green Bay; Mary and "Wayne" Walter Gressick, Green Bay; Carol "Jean" and Jerry Bryfczynski, Pulaski; William Courchaine, Taylors, South Carolina; Joan and Bob Archiquette, Crystal Falls, Michigan; Bernard and Cherryl Courchaine, Howard, Wisconsin; Joseph and Donna Courchaine, Marathon City, Wisconsin; Barbara and Claude Tremblay, Greenville, South Carolina; Ruth and Guy Micholic, Appleton; Wilfred Jr. "Wink" and Tracy Courchaine, Moore, South Carolina; Thomas and Dori Courchaine, Mishicot, Wisconsin; Richard "Jock" and Diana, Howard, Wisconsin; and Teresa Nowak, Green Bay; 58 step-grandchildren; 42 step-great grandchilmany nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Walter, Edwin and Alvin and three sisters, Agnes, Anna and Gertrude.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. Sunday at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Lombardi Ave. at Ridge where a parish wake service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Visitation will continue after 10 A.M. Monday at St.

Agnes Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. Burial will be in Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery, Pulaski. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Rhonda Lincoln, Ruth and Guy Micholic, Jane Spitzer and the staffs of Unity Hospice and St.

Mary's Hospital 3rd floor and all of the wonderful people who helped care for Irene during the past few years. Kerscher, Edward G. Edward G. Kerscher, 86, Euren, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003, at Highland Health Care.

He was born June 29, 1917, in the town of Lincoln, to the late Dr. Edward J. and Helen (Bottkol) Kerscher. Ed served his country in the U.S. Army.

He married Urah Kemp on June 5, 1993. He was employed by Pabst Brewery for 38 years until his retirement. He is survived by his wife Urah; children Mario Fisher, Linda (Walton) Lyte, Kim (Warren) Cosey; five grandchildren; a special grandson, Marco; six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Jim (Jane) LeFevre, David (Mary Lee) LeFevre, Jayne (Charles) Schwenner, Joseph LeFevre, Dan (Wanda) LeFevre, Joan Mitchell, Jean (Don) Peters. Edward was preceded in death by his sister and broth-law, Helen and Harold LeFevre. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m.

on Friday at Wiesner and Massart Funeral Home, Casco, and again on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Peter Church, Lincoln. Wake Service Friday 6:30 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday, 11 a.m.

at St. Peter Catholic Church, Lincoln, with Fr. Dennis Drury officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Edward enjoyed a long, adventurous life in his early years.

He had a great love for auto magazines and kept a journal regarding the usage of his cars: mileage, anniversaries and birthdays. Ed enjoyed good food, cold beer and a good cigar. He was a ecumenical churchgoer, often stating "I love them all." Edward leaves behind a legacy stemming from his father, Dr. E.J. Kerscher.

His home has been named a landmark. Many townspeople came there for medical services. The Kerscher home is as big as Ed's heart was. "Doc" as he was affectionately known, will be greatly missed. Kuehl, Ellsworth F.

Ellsworth F. Kuehl, age 91 of 1212 Kilbourn Street, Kewaunee died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, at Bellin Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept 17, 1911, in Kewaunee to the late Charles and Caroline (Besserdich) Kuehl. Ellsworth graduated from Kewaunee.

High School and the Door-Kewaunee Normal School. He taught at Little Creek School one year. He then worked for Shanrock Construction Company for a short time after which he took over the family farm which he operated until 1967 and also worked at Hamachek Machine Shop until retiring. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed woodworking and going up North.

Ellsworth married the former Inga Schuelke June 12, 1934, at Menominee, MI. She preceded him in death Sept. 10, 1996. (Rasmussen) Enid A. Moore (Rasmussen) age 85, South Milwaukee, formerly of Mountain. Visitation Saturday, August 16, 2003, at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring from 12 p.m. until funeral 1 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Burial in Mountain Cemetery. Olejniczak, Max F. Maximillian Frank Olejniczak, 99, De Pere, was called to heaven on Aug. 13, 2003. He was born on Oct.

8, 1903, in Green Bay to John and Kazmiera (Wrzesinski) Olejniczak. On Feb. 22, 1930, he married Kathryn Jeffords at Jesu Church in Milwaukee, Wis. He was recently a member of Our Lady of Fatima Latin Mass Assn. and presently a member at St.

Michael's Chapel in De Pere. Max was a "Jack of all trades" throughout his life. He was a tailor, model, bartender, barber, boilermaker with Boil- ermakers Union Local 107, a Registered Nutritional Consultant, and a wonderful father. He was committed to his vitamins and to helping others maintain their health. others maintain He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Paul La Bonte, Tina and Jerry Seifert, Green Bay; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Betty Olen, Menomonee Falls, Larry and Judy Olejniczak, Camp Hill, one daughter-in-law, June (Roger) Olejniczak, Watertown, 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Angeline Windey, Green Bay; two sisters-in-law, Phoebe (Aloysius) Olejniczak, Leona (Joseph) Olejniczak, Green Bay; and one brotherin-law, Harold (Mary) Jeffords, Phoenix, and by a very special friend, Eleanor Cleary; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Konnie; two sons, Roger and Daniel; brothers, Andrew (Elizabeth), Joseph, Aloysius; and sister, Agnes (Walter) Novak. Phillippi, Carl H. Carl H. Phillippi, 76, Green Bay, died at home Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003. He was born Feb.

10, 1927, to Joseph and Clara (Krueger) Phillippi. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army in Europe from 1945 to 1946. On July 17, 1954, he married Patricia Kleeman in Shawano, Wis. Carl was employed by Bark River Culvert Equipment, retiring in 1994.

He served as committee chairman for the Boy Scouts of America, Troop and was a member of the Southside Civic Association. Survivors include his wife, Patricia; four sons and three law, Thomas and his children, Leah and i Menomonee Falls; John and Cathy and their children, Megan, Joseph and Patrick, Charlotte, N.C.; Carl and Lori and their children, Carli and Hailie, Suamico; and Anthony and Annette and their children Elizabeth and Nathaniel, Suamico; and three daughters and one son-in-law, Susan, Chicago; Roberta, Drums, and Kathy and Scott Landsinger, La Crosse; cousins, other relatives and friends. Ripp, Sister Florence Sister Florence Ripp, 85, died Wednesday, August 13, 2003, at St. Francis Convent Bay Settlement. She was born September 21, 1917, to Jacob and Otillia Theisen Ripp in Sturgeon Bay, Wis.

Sister Florence entered the Community of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross in September 1932. She was received into the Order August 1934 and pronounced her final vows in August 1942. In 1994, she celebrated her diamond jubilee. Sister Florence spent her lifetime in dedicated service as a teacher and principal mentoring many young teachers.

She is survived by her brother and two sisters-in law Francis and Janice Ripp, Clarice Ripp; three sisters Dorothy (Joseph) Barczak, Agnes (John) Matosic, Marian Kuehn; many nieces and nephews and by members of her Community, the Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Joseph, Bernard, Ambrose, Roman, Ray; sisters Bertha, Rita, Viola; sisters-in-law Ann Ripp, Helen Ripp; brothers-inlaw Bernard Wilting Jess Torp and Joseph Kuehn.

Friends may call at St. Francis Convent, 3025 Bay Settlement Rd. from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15 with reception of the body at 4 p.m.

and Wake Service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday, Aug. 16 from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church Father John Van Deuren presiding.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Schneider, Ralph 0. Ralph O. Schneider, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003, at the Kewaunee Care Center. He was born on Nov.

9, 1915, in the town of the Pierce, Kewaunee County to late Emil and Martha (Hafeman) Schneider. He married Gladys Neuzil on April 9, 1942, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Rankin, Wis. She preceded him in death Feb. 8, 1982.

They farmed in the town of Pierce on the family farm until retirement. They then moved to the city of Kewaunee where Ralph lived for 22 years. Declining health made it necessary to move to Meadow Park Home where he stayed for al- Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Diane Schneider, Kewaunee; one daughter and son-in-law, Laurel and Roger Teske, Algoma; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Hervey and Laverne Berg, Helen Neuzil, Lorraine Neuzil, Mildred Neuzil and Phil Good as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Ted and Tara Teske; two brothers, Gilbert and Glen Schneider; brothers-in-law and sisters-inlaw, Harold, Harvey and Roy Neuzil, Mildred and Marion Borchardt, Emma Good, Lorraine and Betty Neuzil and may call at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee after 4 p.m. Thursday and at Immanuel Ev.

Lutheran Church, Kewaunee after 9:30 a.m. Friday until time of services. prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.

Friday, Aug. 15, at the church with Rev. Randy Schoemann officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr.

Tom Zenner for care given to Ralph over the years, the Kewaunee Care Center for the excellent care given to Ralph over the last month. A special thank you also to Judy, Gerry and Grace at Meadow Park, the place he called Siebers, O.Praem, Father Glen Francis Father Glen Francis Siebers, O. 80, a member of the Norbertine community of St. Norbert Abbey, De Pere, and a Norbertine priest, passed into Gods eternal kingdom on Aug. 10, 2003.

Father Siebers, son of the late Henry and Henrietta (Emmers) Siebers was born in Kimberly, on May 4, 1923. His home parish was St. John Nepomucene Parish, Little Chute, Wis. In 1942, Father Siebers graduated from St. John High School, Little Chute, Wis.
