COURIER PAGE HIRE* T We Ask You To Help Us Help The Blind In Arkansas LIONS CLUB BROOM SALE 3 Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday We are appealing to you to help us aid the blind in Arkansas, A» you know, brooms are madt by the workerg in the Arkansas Lighthouse For The Blind in Little Rock.. .as their way of trying to be self-supporting. The Lions Club all over Arkansas seeks to aid them in this work. That is why we are setting aside these three days, September 20, 21, and 22 for the Broom Sale. Proceeds will be used partly to purchase the brooms from th« blind makers, and the rest will be used by the Blytheville Lions Club In their local work for Sight Conservation. So beginning at 6:00 tomorrow afternoon (Thursday), members of the Lions Club will call at each home in Blytheville. You will be invited to purchase just one or several of the brooms. They're made of top quality long straw —household brooms, $1.50. . .warehouse brooms, $1.75. We hope you'll help us help these unfortunate, sightless people.
