Monday, December 15, 2003 Green Bay Press-Gazette Family feared missing girl was dead The Associated Press MILWAUKEE A news photo of a slain Georgia girl resembled a missing Milwaukee girl so much that relatives feared for a time it might be her. Joella Reaves, 1 11, was tied up OBITUARIES AND FUNERALS Bolzenthal, Natalie A. Heaven takes one if its angels home. Our mother has been gently lifted up to heaven. After many medical events her heart and kidneys could work no longer.

Natalie A. Bolzenthal, 82, Green Bay resident, died December 13, 2003. She was born February 12, 1921 in Green Bay to the late George and Marie (Flaherty) Oldenburg. On December 3, 1940, she married Robert Bolzenthal. He preceded her in death on January 21, 1989.

Together, Natalie and Robert owned and operated Bolzenthal Furniture. Natalie served as President of the Woman's Club, and was a member of the Green Bay Symphony, Hobby Greenhouse Club and Christian Women's Club. Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn (Ray) Lunsford, and Jean (Dan) Bricker, all of Green Bay; four sons and two daughters-inlaw, Bruce (Pat) Bedford Texas, Michael Bolzenthal and special friend Kathy, Bernard (Nancy) Bolzenthal, and Mark Bolzenthal and special friend Dee Dee, all of Green Bay; 17 grandchildren and 23 greatgrandchildren; one brother, Gerald Oldenburg, Palm Desert, and one sister, Ione McFarlane, Green Bay. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and Natalie's parents. Also a granddaughter, Lisa and great-granddaughter, Tina.

Friends may call at ProkoWall Funeral Home Crematory, 1630 E. Mason St. on Tuesday, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service 6:00 p.m.

Exferd, Hilda Hilda Exferd, 79, a resident of Green Bay, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, at her home. Arrangements are incomplete. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family. Gossen, Rosemary J.

"Rosie" Rosemary J. "Rosie" Gossen, 53, Wayside, passed away on December 12, 2003, after a brief illness. Rosie was born on November 26, 1950, to the late Jacob and Rose (DeGrand) Van Ven Roy in Bellevue. She was a graduate of Preble High School. On October 3, 1970, Rosie married Daniel Gossen at SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.

Rosie was employed serving the sick in our community at St. Vincent Hospital making them meals. Before that she was employed at Viand's in Green Bay for 18 years. Rosie loved to spend time with her family, and was especially proud of her grandchildren Jake Arndt and Michaela Thurow. She was active in 4H as well as SHARE where she volunteered for over 15 years.

She truly enjoyed helping others. She horses, reading, gardening and cooking. Rosie is survived by her husband Daniel, two daughters Christina (special friend Eric Bruner) and grandson Jake Arndt and Kimberly (Al) Krause and step grand-granddaughter Michaela Thurow, sister Joanne (Elmer) Bigfire, brothers Hilbert (Lynn) Van Ven Roy and Gene Van Ven Roy, step-brothers Larry (Bonnie) Heezen and George (Donna) Heezen, step sister Esther (Joseph) Bertrand, mother and father-in-law Edward and Mildred Gossen, brothers-in-law Gene (Debbie) Gossen and Felix Van Enkenvoort sister-in-law Lynn Gossen as well as many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father Jake Van Ven Roy, mother Rose Van Ven Roy-Heezen and step father Peter Heezen. Marshall, Kathleen L. Kathleen L. Marshall, age 70, of 1006 N. Military died Saturday, December 13, 2003. She was born July 12, 1933.

in Michigan to the late John J. and Margaret M. (McN a vish) Petkus. Kathleen was a Registered Nurse for many years serving most of her career in local nursing homes. She was a member of the Latin Mass Association of Green Bay.

Survivors include three children: Michael (Marie) Marshall, Peggy Marshall, and Steven Andrew Marshall; four grandchildren: Tyler, Nathan, Logan and Joshua; two sisters: Lorraine (Richard) Schneider and Juliann DeGroote; nieces and nephews including a special niece, her PRISM. Ostrenga, Fredricka "Mae" (Fredricka) "Mae" Ostrenga, 90, Oconto Falls, died early Sunday morning, December 14, 2003 at Community Memorial Hospital. She was born October 1, 1913 in West Allis, Wis. to Louis and Matilda (Coopman) Milheiser.

She grew up in Oconto Falls where she attended St. Anthony's Catholic Grade School. As a young women she married Ervin "Bud" Renel and together they, children. Mae lived most of her life in the Oconto Falls area and in March of 1961 married Stanley Ostrenga. She was an avid bird watcher and just loved being with children.

Survivors are her husband of 42 years, Stanley Ostrenga, Oconto Falls; her children, Jim (Ann) Renel, Oconto Falls; Joyce Renel-Richards, Linda Johnson, 18 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 20 great-great grandchildren; 10 great-greatgreat grandchildren; two sisters, Faye (Frank) Schmohill, Wind Lake; Betty (Buddy) Beschta, Lena; one sister-inlaw, Marion Milheiser, Oconto Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Sandy Tourtillott on December 27, 1994, four brothers and one sister. Mayme L. Polzin, age 90, Clintonville, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2003 at the Greentree Health and Rehab Center of Clintonville. She was born on May 27, 1913, in the Town of Union, Waupaca county, daughter of the late Alfred and Mildred (Tellock) Beyersdorf. On July 14, 1932, she was united in marriage to Leonard Polzin in Waukegan, he preceded her in death in 1990. The Polzin's farmed in the Town of Dupon, Waupaca County for many years, retiring to Clintonville in 1973.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Chuch, Big Falls member of the Ladies Aid Society. Sruvivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Harold Sandra Polzin, Clintonville; daughter and son-in-law, Florence and Ronald Niemuth, Green Bay; Grandchildren, Raymond (Barbara) Polzin, Clintonville, Cindy Lou Polzin, Marion, Mark (Debra) Neimuth, Green Bay, Kim (Jeffrey) Harkins, Pulaski, Scott (Lisa) Niemuth, Green Bay, Pamela Niemuth, Green Bay; 10 Great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; brother Arthur (Carol) Beyersdorf, Appleton; sister-inlaw Bertha Beyersdorf, Town of Union, Waupaca County. Alexis vanished in May 2002 into the United States Army during the Korean War. After returning from his service to the Army, he graduated from Loyola University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry. Michael worked for approximately ten years as a food technologist for Libby McNeil Libby Food Company in Chicago where his job took him to numerous locations around the world.

He then moved to Wisconsin and worked for and retired from the Department of Natural Resources, serving the Goodman and Antigo ranger stations. After 1 his retirement, Michael moved to Green Bay and became active in several volunteer activities including NEW Orchid Society, Friends of the Brown County Library, Wild Ones (an endangered plant rescue organization), volunteering in the classrooms of many Green Bay elementary schools, Polish Heritage Society, and various activities through the senior center. He will be remembered for his work on computers, natural landscaping, and traveling. He is survived by one sister and brother-in-law: Mary and Jim Allbaugh of Shawano; one brother and sister-in-law: Joe and Kay Religa of Brookville, KS; nieces and nephews: Michael Wedel (special friend Emily Clausen), Julie (Chip) Lushbough, (Ann) Religa, Kevin (Susan) Religa, Todd Allbaugh, Heather (Mike) Galloy. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and his step-father: James Jirik.
