Angus, 83, of Madison was killed Monday when his vehicle collided with a minivan driven by Mai Hang, 23, of De Forest in the town of Burke. Hang and her passenger, Pla Zang, 31, of Milwaukee, were taken to nearby hospitals. Sheriff's deputies said alcohol may have contributed to the accident A two-vehicle collision Satur- Three people drown, two die In plane crash over weekend, B-5 day near Prairie du Chien left three people dead and three others injured.

Authorities said Eric Bohringer, 23, of Bagley apparently lost con trol of his car and collided with another car Bohringer, Josiah Bohringer, 16, of Bagley, and Charlotte Jaeger, 75, of Kenosha were killed. Jaeger was a passenger in the other car. The three injured were Ann Trewartha, 74, Margaret Miller, 61, and Lola Radcliffe, 80, all from Hazel Green. A two-car collision killed Donald Drury, 72, and injured two others Saturday near Weyauwega. Waupaca County sheriff's deputies said Drury crossed an intersection and collided with a car driven by Tyler Roden, 22.

i Scott Christiansen, 35, of Wauzeka also was killed Saturday when the all-terrain vehicle he was driving in Eastman rolled over him. Doris A. Geniesse, 87, resident of Green Bay, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000, at a local hospital. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Blaney Funeral Home. Kinard, Arnold Arnold Kinard, 78, 1343 Eliza Green Bay, died Sept.

4, 2000. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Proko-Wall Funeral Home. Halverson, Carl H. Carl H. Halverson, 81, Crandon, went to be with the Lord with, his family at his side on September 3, 2000.

Carl was born at Rib Lake, Wis. on September 4, 1918 to Otto and Martha Monski Halverson. He graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Mortuary Science, where he also was an instructor. During WWII, he served in the Navy Hospital Corps and then after the war, he returned to the University of Minnesota for a degree in Business Administration. He had worked for the Taylor Funeral Home in Merrill and was also a district representative for the H.S.

Eckels Co. of Philadelphia -covering the states of Wisconsin and Minnesota. On August 4, -1944, he married Irene Nelson in Mobile, Alabama. He and his wife purchased the Reese-Rusch Funeral Home in Crandon on July 1, 1949 and they operated it until July 1, 1980. He also operated an ambulance service in Forest County for 20 years and served as Forest County Coroner for a number of terms.

He was also active in the communi- ty as a past member of the Crandon Zoning Commission and the Crandon Cemetery Commission, a member of the American Legion Post of Crandon and a 20-year member of the Crandon Lions Club, who awarded him the Melvin Jones Award for Distinguished service. In 1991 he was honored by the Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association at the annual convention in La Crosse, for his 50 years of service as a Licensed Funeral Director. Carl was a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Wels, Crandon. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Irene; one daughter, Ruth Ann Halverson, Rhinelander; two sons, John (Jane) Halverson, Sheboygan; Paul (Jane) Halverson, De Pere; one sister, Ruth E.

Halverson, Orlando, FL; six grandchildren, Brett, Paul J. Tony, Jennifer, David and Ian. Also survived by eight sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Visitation will be on Thursday, Sept.

7 at the Halverson-Sumin-ski Funeral Home, Crandon from 4 to 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, Sept. 8 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Crandon with the Rev.

Moede, Kerry Jean Kerry Jean Moede, 46, Waupaca, died on on Sunday, Sept. 3, 2000. Kerry Jean was born on Easter Sunday, April 18th, 1954 in Ripon, Wis. to Elizabeth and Gerald Moede. She lived in the Methodist parsonage at Elo, where her father was pastor.

Kerry lived 46 years with se- vere cerebral palsy, and the last three years with Lou Gehrig's disease as well. Nevertheless, she traveled widely with her family, attending various schools in Basel and Geneva, Switzerland, and learning. French and German. From 1982 to 1998 she lived in Green Bay, and from late 1998 to the present, near Waupaca. Kerry's life was enriched by such programs as United Cerebral Palsy and SSI at the state and national levels.

She will be remembered with love by her family and a host of friends, especially for her smile, her steel-trap memo-. ry of anything musical, her patience, courage, good humor and love of life and music. Kerry was a member of First United Methodist Church of Waupaca. A celebration of Kerry's life and resurrection will be held there at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept.

9, led by various pastors. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 to 11 that morning. Memorial gifts can be sent to Hospice of Waupaca County. Kerry is survived by her mother and father, (Elizabeth and Gerald), a sister (Michelle), two brothers (MarkMary) and (StephenLuanne and children), 30 cousins and spouses, and many aunts and uncles. Kerry's family wished to express special thanks to all who cared for her in church and community.

Specially to be mentioned are Hospice caregivers; doctors Earl, Charlie and Tom; nurses Pam, Sue and Betsy; and aides Kay and Sherry. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca assisted the family with arrangements. Phillips, Ellen M. "Shadow" (Juza) Ellen M. "Shadow (Juza) She was born March 22, 1915 in Flintville to the late John and Sophie a 1 a Muraski.

On October 28, 1933, she married Edward Truskowski at SS. Edward and Isidore Church, Flintville. The couple owned and operated Slim's Tavern in So-bieski. She later worked at Larsen Canning Co. in Green Bay.

Eleanora loved bingo, a good card game, and an occasional trip to the casino. When she was younger, she enjoyed fishing, both through the ice and in the summer. She is survived by her husband; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Faye Truskowski, Auburn, Wash; Ron and Klim (Delores) Truskowski, Sobieski; Bob and Diane Truskowski, 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; two brothers, Leo (Bernice) Muraski, Ap-pleton; Donald (Leta) Muraski, Enterprise, six sisters, Dorothy Davis, Appleton; Lillian (Mike) Szela, Chicago, Mary Szela, Sobieski; Jane (Clyde) Ly-, Barger, Battle Creek, Mich; Carol (Fred) Wakeman, Green Bay; Evelyn Englebretsen, San Antonio, Texas; two sisters-in- law, Mary Ann Muraski, Sparta; Alma Muraski, Pulaski; one brother-in-law, Knowlton Sobieski. She was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter; three brothers, Edwin, Robert and James Muraski; two sisters, Josephine (Vincent) Diederich, Betty VanErem; three brothers-in-law, Chester Davis, Stuart Englebretsen, Joseph Szela. with the Rev. Michael Ingolds officiating. At the Albers, Bernard F. Bernard Albers, 84, took Jesus' hand to join his beloved wife, Laurie, on September 2, 2000. He was comforted by his family, who were praying at his side.

Bernard was born June 14, 1916, in De Pere to the late Martin and Mary Albers. On June 14, 1949, he married Laurie (VanCamp) Albers. Bernard served in the Army in World War II. Bernard was self-employed as a home contractor. (Martin Albers Son) and (Albers Builders), until his retirement.

Bernard had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed cooking, writing poetry, reading and creating various carpentry projects. He often challenged his grandchildren with thinking games. He was a devoted member and volunteer at Our Lady of Lourdes. Survivors include his children, Michael and Diane Albers, East Windsor, N.J.; Peter and Mary Claire Albers, Wrightstown; Mary Jo and Rick Jelinski, Dy-ckesville; Nancy and Jerry Bar-rette, De Pere; Jean and Larry Hockers, De Pere; Jeff and Pat Albers, Wauwatosa; David and Tammy Albers, Brownsmills, N.J.; Patty and Dean Raasch, De Pere; grandchildren, Terry Jo and Brian Leiterman, Beth, Paul, and Peter Albers; Jessica, Eric and Andrea Jelinski; Ross, Alyssa and Ryan Barrette; Scott and Jayme Hockers; Brett and Annie Albers; Cindy and Matthew Albers; Kaeli Raasch; one brother, Jerome Albers; one sister, Johanna Vanden Heuvel; sisters-in-law, Helen and Elmer Green; Marie Albers; Lillian and Bernard Vissers; Rita and Cliff Schmidt; Marge and Jerome Calaway; and Mary and Bob Miller; brothers-in-law, Virgil Van Camp; Fabian and Audrey Van Camp; Alvin Van Camp; Cyril Van Camp and Kenneth and Nancy Van Camp.

Degeneffe, Ryan E. Ryan E. Degeneffe, 23, formerly of De Pere, died unexpectedly due to a hit-and-run accident Sunday, Sept.

3, 2000, in Green Bay. The son of Earl and Mary Degeneffe was born January 9, 1977, in Green Bay. Ryan attended Ashwaubenon High School, graduating in 1995. He was in his third year of college at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, studying Chiroprac tic Medicine. Ryan had numerous interests.

He enjoyed entertaining, pho-tography, music, fishing, enjoying the great outdoors, spending time with his niece, Lauren, and walking his dog "Harley." Ryan was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Green Bay. He was a loving, caring and most sincere person who will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his mother, Mary Degeneffe, De Pere; fa: ther. Earl R. Memorials appreciated to the building fund of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 501 N. Park Crandon, WI 54520. Huybrecht, Delia "Dee" Delia "Dee" Huybrecht, 96, Green Bay, passed away at a local nursing home on Sunday, Sept. 3, 2000.

She was born on April 23, 1904, in Chicago, the daughter of the late John and Rose Selen. Delia married Alden Huybrecht on February 14, 1931 in Chicago, he preceded her in death on October 7, 1974. Delia was a member of the Royal Neighbors and the Violet Club. She is survived by one son, Bill (Jean) Huybrecht, Green Bay; one daughter, Carole Huybrecht, Chicago; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Huybrecht, Saint Louis Park, and Matthew Huybrecht, Miwaukee; one sister, Dorothy Wahlborg, Algonac, nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Delia is preceded in death by one brother, Edward Selen.

20, 1915, in Madison to the late Rosaline and Gae- -tana (Di Maggio) Mazzara. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married the former Betty Paschke on April 17, 1948 in West Allis. She preceded him in death on Nov.

16, 1983. Peter worked as a presser for a drycleaner and for MGIC Insurance in Milwaukee. He retired from MGIC in 1986, and moved to De Pere. Peter enjoyed making crafts, lawn ornaments, and cooking.
