Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hawkins visited with i-elatives in the northern part of the state last weekend. Mr. and Mrs.

Davis Tate and son of DuQuoin, spent the weekend with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Purdue were Sunday dinner guests in the Johnny Boozer home. Ronnie Hawkins, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Kelly Hawkins, was united in marriage Saturday evening to Miss Wilma Meadows, at the home of the bride. A charivari and shower will be held for them Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Hawkins.

They are honeymooning in Wisconsin. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence McDaniel, Gary and Vicki, Sunday afternoon with the Bill Hodge family. A group of young people of this community participated in a hayride Monday night.
