Miss Compton recently retired after being associated with the telephone company for 38 years. Cohen of Pueblo, Colorado. The reception roorns were elaborately decorated In a mint-green and white theme with the three long tables elegantly appointed in heirloom silver, white blossoms and flocked fern. The tables were overlaid with floor length cloths of mint-green Swiss organdy over shimmering green satin. The cloths were designed with deep pleated flounces. The main table was silhouetted against a background of Woodwardia fern and wide-leaf tropical foliage flanked by tall tropical trees.

The arrangement of greenery filled the ledge in front of handsome satin draperies. The main table was centered by a silver epergne candelabra holding nine white flame-tipped candles. The epergne was filled with a pyramid arrangement of pure-white carnations, white glamelias, gladioli, and flocked fern masspd against the white blossoms. The and Mrs. Charles Bloom, Glade water.
