He was a retired minister, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and was a member of Woodruff First Baptist Church. He served as pastor of churches in McCormick, Laurens, Mount-ville, Branchville, Batesburg and Hampton. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Thomas McTeer of the home; two sons, Thomas R. McTeer of Chesapeake, and Marcus S.

McTeer of the home; a daughter, Catherine T. McTeer of the home; three brothers, the Rev. Joseph L. McTeer of Ridgeland, William H. McTeer of and Dr.

Meredith WOODRUFF Dewey Mils Meredith, 83, of Route 1, Greer, died Tuesday. He was a retired farmer and was a member of Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mabel M. Mulvaney Jr. Leo Anthony Mulvaney 53, of 4910 Candlewyck Lane, died Thursday. He was vice president of the PM Group of South Carolina business consultants, a member of the Society of Professional Business Consultants and the Greenville Chamber of Commerce. He was a member and treasurer of the board of trustees for the Phillis Wheatley Association. He served in the U.S.

Navy during the Korean War and was of the Catholic faith. Surviving are his mother, Nan Roberts Grove of Jacksonville, a daughter, Nan Marie Mulvaney of Greenville; two sons, Edwin Anthony Mulvaney and Charles Patrick Mulvaney, both of Greenville; and three sisters, Helen M. Ingle of Jacksonville, Margaret M. Driscoll of Huntsville, and Ann M. Stacey of Washington, D.C.

A memorial service was conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church Building Fund, Greenville. Nathaniel Paden Nathaniel Paden, of 315 Haynie died Tuesday.

Surviving are two sons, Johnny Paden of Greenville and Robert Paden of Oaklawn, and a stepson, Robert Abercrombie of Greenville. James, N.Y. J. Martin Robinson John Martin "Mart" Robinson, 66, died Thursday. He retired from B.F. Goodrich Rubber Co.

after 30 years of service. He was recently employed with Tires Inc. of Greenville. He served in the 263rd Coast Artillery during World War II. He was a member of Lee Road United Methodist Church and a past president of the Methodist Men's Club.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth Bradford Robinson; a daughter, Mrs. Henry T. (Judy) Finch Jr. of Charleston; three sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Betty) Garren of Greenville, Mrs.

Charles (Mary) Nichols of Nashville, and Mrs. Charles (Lillian) Hodgens of Johnson City, and three brothers, James Robinson and Clarence Robinson, both of Greenville, and T.J. Robinson of Marietta. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Lee Road United Methodist Church with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Sam Silvers TRAVELERS REST Samuel Garfield Silvers, 68, of Keeler Mill Road, died Wednesday. He was a drywall contractor and was a member of Forestville Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Amanda Bayne Silvers; his mother, Anna Peterson Silvers of Greenville; five sons, Raymond Silvers, Daniel Harold M. Berry Harold M. Berry, 76, of Edwards Road, died Friday. He was a retired millwright machinist for DuPont Co. in Aiken and was a U.S.

Army veteran. He was a Baptist and a charter member of Richland Lodge in Richland, Washington. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John (Carol) Bradley of Powders-ville; and a sister, Mary V. Renner of Waverly, Ohio.

Tobacco heir dies The Associated Press WINSTON-SALEM Nancy Susan Reynolds, last surviving child of the founder of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco died Friday at her home in Greenwich, Conn. Ms. Reynolds, 74, was a benefactor for many institutions, particularly Wake Forest University.

Harry Thomas Sloan COLUMBIA Harry Thomas Sloan, 74, of B-10 Berkley Square, died Wednesday. He was a retired captain of the South Carolina Highway Patrol with 43 years of service. He was a Charter member of Earlwood Masonic Lodge in Columbia and attended Main Street United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Eloise Hedgepath Sloan of Columbia; a daughter, Mrs. William A.

(Mickey) Berrian of Columbia; three sisters, Iona Atkins, Earlene Keller, and Cornelia Gaston, all of Greenville; and a brother, Dargen Sloan of Greenville. Drawer 1988, Greenville, S.C. 29602 WALDE H. NILSSON, SR. Walde Henry Nilsson, 72, of Tamwood Circle, Simpsonville, widower of Edna Kobbe Nilsson, died Thursday. Born in Savannah, he was a son of the late Nils Peter and Selma Sophia Carlson Nilsson.

He moved to the Greenville area from Savannah in 1976. Mr. Nilsson retired in 1975 from the Federal Avaiation Administration as an electronic technician after 20 yrs. of service. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of Ascension, Savannah.

He was also a member of the Amateur Radio Repeater Association in Simpsonville and Savannah and the A.R.R.L. He was a veteran of World War II. FLORENCE D. GRAYDON Laurens. Mrs.

Florence Dagnall Graydon, of 51 Scott wife of the late John S. Graydon, Jr. died Friday in Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Laurens County, and daughter of the late John L. and Ruby Whitten Dagnall.

She was retired from Whitten Center in Clinton and she was a member of Central United Methodist Church. She is survived by one brother, William "Bill" Dagnall of Laurens; and four sisters, Mrs. Lucia Hinson of Arlington, Mrs. Epps B. (Frankie) Davis of Clinton, Mrs.

W. L. (Carrie) McDaniel and Mrs. Douglas (Virginia) Laws, both of Laurens. Funeral services will be at 3 PM Sunday from the Kennedy Mortuary Chapel officiated by Rev.

Louis Adams, Rev. Jack Phillips and Dr. John R. Waters. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of Bill and Louise Dagnall, 235 W. Main Laurens. The body is at the Kennedy Mortuary where the family will receive friends from 7 until 9 PM Saturday. Kennedy Mortuary' in charge. MRS.

PAUL J. FOSTER Sallie Hackney Foster, 79, of 321 Dellwood widow of Paul J. Foster, died Friday. Born in Macon, she was a daughter of the, late Clement and Emma Ross Hackney. She was retired Bookkeeper and was a member of Buncombe Street United Methodist Church.
