Fraatz, 24, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul T. Fraatz, of 218 Parharn Road, Springfield, and whose wife, Margaret, lives at 914 South Ridley Township, has been promoted to his present rating while serving with the Army's 13th Support Brigade at Ft. Hood, Tex.

He is a 1962 graduate of Msgr. Bonner High School and received a bachelor of cience degree in accounting 'rom Drexel Institute of Technology in 1967.
