The 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in favor of the school boards in all of the cases Sept 28, 971. The brief filed by the American Civil Liberties Union on behalf of seven youths said "the issue (of long hair) will continue to be raised so long as school boards persist in regulating the hair length of their male students and those students insist that the Constitution affords them the right to make such decisions for WASHINGTON, D.C. (IH) The Supreme Court today let stand a lower court ruling which permits a state to expel or punish public school students whose hair length exceed limits prescribed by school officials.

The court has been asked to review similar cases in the past, but has refused. U.S. district courts in Utah, Colorado and Oklahoma sustained the school regulations in 1970 rulings, but in a New Mexico case, a federal court held that the student's Rosalie Butler set to return St. Paul Coumilwoman Rosalie Butler said today that she will return to the City Council Tuesday morning after five weeks in University of Minnesota Hospitals, where 6he received a kidney trans plant. "I think it's going to be interesting when I return," she said.

"It'll liven things up a bit" She declined to specify who her target would be. She said she has been catching up on things at home since she was released from the hospital over the weekend. "I feel just great," she said. "I can't tell you how wonderful I feel. It's like a miracle for me.

You're not going to recognize me. I look much younger and that dull glaze has left my eyes and I look like a live human being again." She received the kidney in an operation March 2. The donor was her son, Robert Barth, a Minneapolis lawyer. THE MINNEAPOLIS STAR Jg March 27, 19? 2 Dr. T.M.

HIGH COURT DECISION Ban on TV cigarette ads upheld CINCINNATI, Ohio Six New York area men known as the U.S. Precision team won their third national knockout team title in four tries Sunday during final play at the American Contract Bridge League's spring national championships. The Precision team won theVanderbiltCup. The team previously won the Spingold team title at Boston in 1970 and again last year in Chicago.

Steve Altman, Gene Neiger, Alan Sontag, Joel Stuart and Peter Wei-chsell, all of New York City, and Tom Smith of Greenwich, make the team. The NAB sought similar relief, asking for a permanent injunction to stay enforcement of the law. The majority opinion of the lower court held that the stations' had not lost any right of free speech, but only the right to collect money for broadcasting the message of others. in the District of Columbia.
