Parks WOODRUFF Miss Lillian L. Parks of 219 Chamblin St. died Saturday. A native of Laurens County, daughter of the late Sumter Payton and Frances Hunter Parks, she was a retired teacher of the Charlotte, N.C. school system and a member of Mary Muskgrove Chapter of the D.A.R.

Joseph E. Gable BELTON Captain Joseph E. Gable, 31, of 7030 Mountainbrook Drive, Columbia, died Saturday. Born in Anderson County, son of Paul K. and Bessie Cox Gable, of Belton, he was a graduate of Belton High School and Clemson University, class of 1963.

He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Columbia. Surviving also are his widow, Mrs. Sarah Hamilton Gable, a daughter, Miss Maura Hamilton Gable; a son, Joseph Hamilton Gable of the home; a brother, Paul K. Gable, Jr. of Clemson; and a sister, Miss Patsy Ann Gable of Columbia.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church in Columbia with committal services at 4 p.m. at the Garden of near Belton. -Cox Funeral Home. Mrs.

Lexie W. Williams HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. Mrs. Lexie Winfrey Williams of Horseshoe, N.C. died Saturday, A native, of Macon County, she lived in Henderson County for the last 40 years, the daughter of the late John and Betty Moore Winfrey.

Lois Buffington Bedenbaugh; six daughters, Mrs. Dallas Merchant of Newberry, Mrs. Ester Hankinson of Augusta, Mrs. Brenda Goff and Miss June Bedenbaugh of Saluda, Mrs. Leoris West and Mrs.

Maurice Wayne Towe SALEM Maurice Wayne Towe, 22, of Rt. 2, Salem, Flat Shoals Community, died Saturday. Born in Oconee County, son of Ralph and Pauline Bryant Towe of Salem, he was employed with his father in the logging business and attended the Baptist church. Surviving also are Ralph Eugene Towe of Salem; two sisters, Mrs. Phyllis June Holcombe of Walhalla, and Mrs.

Judy Elaine Tilson of Salem; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bryant; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lena Towe of Salem. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m.

Carr, died Sunday. Born in Jefferson, a daughter of the late Frank A. and Sarah E. Worsham Reinhardt, she attended Georgia State Normal School and Limestone College, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Women of the Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.

A.M. Galloway of Delray, two sons, William H. Carr of Vienna, Va. and T. Frank Carr of Greenville; five grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.

Baxter D. Justice Baxter Dent Justice, 47, of 107 Sumner Street, died Saturday. A native of Greenville County, a son of the late Butler and Loduska Clark Justice, he was an electrician for Cunningham Sons Electric, and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Helen Long Justice; a daughter, Miss Rose Marie Justice of Greenville; a son, Danny Justice of Greenville; a step-daughter, Miss Elaine Justice Greenville: three stepsons, Donald Capps, Ronald Capps and Larry Joe Capps all of Greenville; one sister, Mrs.

Rachel Broadhurst of Santa Barbara, and a grandchild. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Bethany Assembly of God Church, with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Blance Grimes ABBEVILLE Mrs. Rebecca Botts Grimes, 78, widow of Blance Grimes, died Saturday. Born in Abbeville County, daughter of the late Thomas Henry and Jennie McCord Botts, she was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the Order of Eastern Star, and of the Main Street Methodist Church, and was a retired operator of a boarding house. 1, Simpsonville, died Saturday. A native of the Boiling Springs community of Greenville County, he was a son of the late Irby and Mamie Hamby Vaughn. Mr. Vaughn was engaged in cattle farming, and was president of the Greenville County Cattle Association, state director of the South Carolina Far Bureau, former president of the Greenville County arm Bureau, head commissioner of the Boiling Springs Fire Department, a member of the Roper Mountain Baptist Church and chairman of the Board of Deacons. Surviving are his wife, Mrs.

Kate Smith Vaughn; a sister, Mrs. Paul Garrison of Greenville; and two brothers, Gentry Vaughn of Powdersville and Marvin Vaughn of Rt. 4, Greer. Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Monday at the Roper Mountain Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
