Comfort students earn recognition COMFORT Two students from Comfort received honors recently. Rae Lynn Schneider, a 1993 Comfort High graduate, has been chosen as the "Outstand. ing Freshman" by the faculty at the Texas Department of Rangeland Ecology and Management.

Daughter of Alton and RoseMarie Schneider, she also was named to the Freshman Honor Society in March. Scott Ian Cruzen of Comfort, a senior at Business Career; High School in San Antonio. will represent Texas at the National Business Professionals of America computer competition. The competition will be held later this month in San Francisco. Son of Glen and Sue Cruzen, Scott won the regional competition in January and took first place in state at Dallas in March.

Army, retiring in 1957 as a lieutenant colonel. He was a retired service officer and was a member of the Sisterdale Volunteer Fire Department, the Disabled American Veterans, and the Comfort VFW. He married Eleanor Eichholz on Aug. 16, 1967 in San Antonio. She survives.

Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Genevieve Downard of Comfort and Donald M. I and Catherine Downard of Borne; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Larry Mund of Comfort and Dori Downard and Tim Wells of Stephenville; a -in-law, Gerald and Mary Downard of California; his mother-in-law, Ella Eichholz of comfort; 10 grandchildren and six He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Downard, and a brother, William Downard. Oct. 29, 1894 in Franklin, Mrs. Perilloux had been a housewife. She married Jourdan Dominick Perilloux 1923 in Franklin. He preceded her in death in 1960.

Ollie Mae "Pee Wee" Sutton, 60, of Bandera, who died Wednesday at her residence, will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapel in Bandera with O.J. Woods officiating. Born Oct. 1, 1933 in Burnet, Mrs.

Sutton had been a resident of Bandera for eight years, formerly residing in Tarpley. She was a housewife and a member of the Baptist church. She married Sherman L. Sutton on April 16, 1951 in Kerrville. He survives.
