Born in Fletcher, N.C., he was the oldest member of Locust Hill Baptist Church, where he was an honorary decaon and a member of the Men's Bible Class. He was a former trustee of Locust Hill Grammar School and a member of the Woodmen of the World. His first wife was the James Plumblee late Lena Jordan Plumblee. Roy Gash SPARTANBURG Roy Earl Gash, 77, of 3 die on roads A North Carolina man who was killed in a hitand-run accident was among three traffic fatalities reported Saturday to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. George Little Edwards, 69, of Cleveland, N.C., was struck by a car as he walked along state 72 near Chester. Robert Hilton Sapp, 38, of Lancaster died around noon Saturday in a one-car wreck near Lancaster.

A 41-year-old Salley man, Ril Myloy Atkinson, was killed when he lost control of the car he was driving on a secondary road just outside of Salley. Louis dies at Blakney home; Sherry a Ann Coggins half-sister, of the home; paternal EASLEY Louis Wilson Blakney, 101, of 101 Lakeview Drive, Easley, formerly of Roslindale, died Saturday. Born in Nova Scotia, Canada, he lived in Boston, before moving to Easley seven months ago. He was a retired plumbing and heating contractor and was a member of Tremont Temple Baptist Church in Boston, where he was a member of the Brotherhood and the Baptist Social Union. Surviving are his wife, Effie Hopkins Blakney of Easley; a daughter, 1838 22nd Vero Beach, husband of Sara Russell Gash, died Friday.

Born in Spartanburg, he was a graduate of Wofford College and was a retired employee of Arkwright Mills. i He was a former member and deacon of the First Baptist Church of Spartanburg and had been active in the United Fund. Surviving also are daughters, Margaret C. McGill of Spartanburg and Carolyn G. Sherrell of Asheville, N.C.; sisters, Mrs.

Joseph E. Holmes and Mrs. Paul V. Dill of Spartanburg and Mrs. J.

Born in Anderson, a son of J.D. Higginbotham of Anderson and the late Clara Lee Smith Higginbotham, he was an accountant for the Atlanta Board of Education. He was a veteran. Surviving also are sisters, Mrs. Charles Merk and Mrs.

Ruth Lyons ATLANTA, Ga. Ruth Eskew Lyons, 79, of 1112 Peachtree N. widow of Ben E. Lyons, died Saturday. Born in Piedmont, S.C., she was a former resident of Greenville, S.C., and was a Presbyterian.

Montague Tillotson SPARTANBURG C. Montague Tillotson, 64, of 89 Ninth Valley Falls, died Saturday. Born in Spartanburg County, a son of Ruth Pearson Tillotson Lawrence of Valley Falls and the late Clarence Wilson Tillotson, he was a member of Valley Falls First Baptist Church, Lone Oak Masonic No. 372 AFM and was a veteran of World War II. He was a retired security guard at the Spartanburg City Jail.
